   Cool little cafe in the center of Madrid. Great coffee, natural juices, homemade soups, healthy salads, sandwiches and even baked Potatoes! In a nice relaxed friendly environment. You can also order to take away, which is quite a new thing in Madrid!

   Sunday lunch place for friends and funky families. Bar like setting with old signs on the walls and wooden tables. Eat fried potatoes with your choice of meat, sea food or vegetables, have a glass of beer and top up with a toast. Relaxed and simple!

   Great place to eat the beloved spanish jamon, bocadillos and callamares. They also have plates with pork or chicken. The staff is also very nice (even if you don't speak a word of Spanish) and all this for a cheap price.

As its quite difficult to get a... more This is a great tapas bar in La Latina. They don't take reservations so get there early! They do traditional tapas with a twist. Try the risotto with prawns, the hamburgers and the pintxo de solomillo which is to die for. The salads are also great for sharing. As its quite difficult to get a table we had to get there early as there were 17 people in our group but we managed to get a table and everyone really enjoyed the food. Its reasonable too. It worked out at €35 a head and that included a lot of beer and wine. This place gets really busy later and the bar was packed. Unfortunately, one of the girls in our group had her bag robbed while we were there by a couple who had been sitting next to her. I know this could happen anywhere but it did affect our mood somewhat. Not the restaurants fault though and we couldn't fault the food or the great staff!close

   Toa is a great sushi bar (which are hard to find) The surroundings are brilliant and utterly oriental. The only complaint i have is the food is just so overpriced,(you can when you pretty much have a monopoly) but it is beautiful

    This is a lively tapas bar on the best street in Madrid (in my opinion). You can stand at the bar and have a drink or sit at a table and have some food. The tapas are delicious as is the vino. We had to wait a while for a table but it was worth it!
