Lack of hot water in the bathroom after 2 or 3 people had shower. There were also some leaks in the bathroom ceilling and breakfast ended at 10:00 AM (To early for night live in Madrid!!) Although staff was friendly and with a lovely argentinian accent.

In a good location, easy to meet others staying there, and well organized, but relaxed and fun at same time.

We really loved the activities offered by the hostel. The tapas tour and Flamenco night stand out (specifically thanks to our guide, Paulo) Can't wait to come back to Madrid.

Great place, wish I could´ve hung out there more. Can´t comment on the social aspect too much, but everyone I met seemed real fun. Great location, walking distance from the main train station, squares, and sights. Friendly staff.

If the man at the front desk was not watching football with his friends, he was giving awful directions around the city. He was not welcoming at all, and others we stayed with and talked too agreed.

Excellent kitchen except once a week the cleaners go berserk and take everyone's stuff out of their clearly labelled bags that are in the fridge and lump everything together...or worse they just throw it out! Apart from that, nothing to complain about. Walking distance to Sol. A little hard to find but keep your eyes peeled. Rooms are big and new and the chill out room was handy. Good place to base yourself in Madrid.

Neighborhood appears a bit shabby but hostel is quite good. Staff were excellent in providing details and directions to nearby attractions and cheap-eats. Warning: ask for room away from the common room as walls are paper-thin!

Staff was extremely helpful. The lift was out of order during our stay and our room was on the 3rd floor, one of the staff member helped us to carry the 50lbs luggage to the ground floor. Beds were okay with clean sheets but no hot water in bathroom.
