My first hostel that I stayed at in Europe, kind of bad in a way only in that it set the bar so high. The rooms were well appointed, the lockers were especially handy, the staff were great, the breakfast was light but very tasty 7 the bar at night was crazy fun! Definitely stay again if I'm lucky...

Not a place for the light sleeper or for someone looking to rest a lot. It's got great night life and breakfast! The bathrooms were fine and even had hairdryers. I'd stay again.

What a beautiful interior!!! You walk in and it feels like you just stepped in Morocco! It's absolutely gorgeous. The rooms however do not block out the noise since the doors are of glass and there are ventilators at the bottoms of each door. The beds were uncomfortable, and old. Be sure to bring...

The bathrooms were very smelly. You can't flush toilet paper down the toilet. You have to put it in a trash can. Yuk! The walls were very thin and all the rooms are above the central lounge area and be extremely noisy when trying to sleep.

the free tour was awesome, have to go do it, really cool little bar down stairs, breakfast isnt all you can eat you only get 1 bowl of cereal

I just voted "average" for the staff because they don't interact with people as much as I think they should. Yet... this hostel is quite awesome!

This hostel attracts a young crowd; perfect if you are looking to party, but a little much if you aren't. The location is good and close to the major sights.

Hostel was clean and had character. No community kitchen for store your snacks. Nice bar lounge area downstairs. Small bathroom stalls!

This hostel is great if you enjoy the party scene...was a bit loud at night! Showers and toilet stalls were small. Staff were rude and made it seem like everything was a bother. "Breakfast" was small.

Restroom where a little bit under my expectations, most of the time where dirty. That's not conciderinf the one above the bar, which was discusting most of the time. Otherwise, it was very nice and neat.

adorable place!! great breakfast, tons of showers.. pretty clean doors were a little difficult to open but id def stay again breakfast was croissant and coffee and juice.. odnt drink the coffee!!

There is a 10 euro key deposit that you have to pay with cash when you arrive. The area was nice and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was awesome and if you stay until the end you will probably get the extras. The free walking tour they offered was great for seeing some sights and was pretty...

A perfect location, close from everything Madrid has to offer and great hostel where you can find all you need, a good and friendly staff ready to help, a cheerful bar and el barrio de Lavapies which is absolutely great.

The Cats hostel had a really good common room and the receptionist was evry ncie and helpful. The hostel is pretty close to most things and you can walk pretty much anywhere. The showers are plentiful but not very hot.

If you're looking for a good nights sleep I wouldn't suggest this place. I arrived on a Thursday night and I didn't get to sleep until 4am. If you're looking for a good time this is the place to go!

This place sux. no clean linen. bed bugs. staff dont give a toss about you. noisy. we had a jumper stolen from the bar by some locals that were allowed into the bar. finally we booked our beds on HW then when booking an extra night when there they hiked up the price substantially.

On two nights/occasions they thought that people were being too rowdy in the bar and used pepper spray to make people leave, which is inhumane!! The night manager was very aggressive.

I have never seen such a beautiful hostel. Very safe and fun hostel. Great people and decent place to hang out at night. It wasn't too close to anything else but you could reasonably walk around the city without needing any public transport. That said, it is near a subway stop.
