In the centre of Madrid. Cosy, comfortable, modern and elegant, very well located, with many interesting places close by. Visit the Plaza Cibeles square, within walking distance, you can also reach many museums, restaurants and bars or go shopping in Fuencarral, Preciados and Chueca neighbourhoods. The new owner has renovated and decorated this small eight room hotel with great taste. All amenities are available. You will be able to stay in a small boutique hotel in down town madrid for a small budget with very cheap prices. Very hospitable host. Rooms are offered for 1 and 2 people with private bath. Prices: One or two persons per room: EURO 75,85 and 95 depend of the size We offer 10% discount for 7 or more nights; +25% for Christmas (24 & 25 Dec); +25% for New Year's period (28 Dec - 1 Jan); +15% for Easter (22 & 23 Mar 2008); +25% for Gay Pride; For monthly rates we offer bigger reductions, depending on the time of stay; All rates are inclusive VAT and Tourist Tax. Though the rooms are stylish and bright, the approsch to this hostel is via a semi derelict staircase (64 steps) There are rarely any staff on hand if you have a problem as we did. When he did turn up he was extremely aggressive and rude. We had no plug in our basin, the balcony door would not close we politely mentioned both problems and his response was "Are you just looking for things" ?? On our last day we had no breakfast, he said we were lying and he had seen the girl place it in our room. Shocking attitude. Peaceful location ? we ould have slept better on the Metro platform it was without doubt the noiseiest place ever. We have lived in Spain for ten years so this is not just a culture clash. He is RUDE!!! can't recommendclose
