Great city with a beautiful lake and it's own mountain (with excursion to Mt.Pilatus). Big DJs visit Lucern, but not really on week days. Thats when u could hit the casinos! |

A great city and loads to do (weather permitting) - it was raining all 4 ays when i was there and could not go up mount Titlus or Pilatus - otherwise visit museums. |

Lucerne was so beautiful and was a late inclusion to our trip but certainly was among the highlights of our trip. We would recommend it to anyone the views are breathtaking. |

This is our favorite town we visted on our trip. The culture is great and old town is beautiful and lively. Definitely spend some time here if you are going to Switzerland! |

It's Lucerne - you're not going to find that much quality for budget prices. Tourist Hotel Lucerne offers basic but clean rooms. Don't expect too much, and you won't be disappointed. |

There isn't a whole lot to see, but the shopping isn't bad. It is definitely worth your time if you have money to spend or you just really want to chill out. |

I truly loved lucerne as soon as i walked out from the train station i was in love. The place is so homely and welcoming. Everyone is really lovely and always wanting to help. Every picture you take is like a postcard! Love it and going back! |

very beautiful, friendly, and overall great city to just relax in. take out a paddleboat or go to the (free) beach. things here are pricey, so hunt around for deals... they exist, but are scarce, so be prepared to pay... oh, and use swiss francs, not euros. |

Great little town with a gorgeous views of the lake and mountain. It's small enough that you can just walk around and see everything and has lots of good daytrips. But it's also VERY expensive here. |

Lucerne is a very beautiful nice small town. The scenary around the town is excellent and it's very picturesque. Many small shops for shopping and some nice restaurants along the river. Mont Pilatus is right around the corner and is very accessible. We truly enjoyed the round trip around it, by boat, coag wheel train and cable car. Definitly worth a trip if in Switzerland. |

Lucerne is not a party town, but it is a nice stay if you like to hike mountains, and be active, or if you like to sit back an relax. The food was fantastic and the city is very safe and easy to navigate. |

Lucerne is a beautiful city, and a trip up Mount Pilatus is a must. However, it is a bit expensive (although I haven't traveled much in Switzerland so cannot really compare to other Swiss cities). |

A gorgeous city. It's very easy to get around and a ton of places to walk. All in all, a good trip. Didn't go out while here so can't say anything about night life. It's also expensive of course. |

The city itself is way overrated, and absolutely packed with tourists. You may however stay there at night and enjoy a nice walk the the beautiful surronding mountains. |

Luzern is really pretty during Advent. The Christmas markets were really fascinating with loads to eat and drink. Also enjoyed the live performances on the night we were there. We didn't know where to find clubs to party at though. |

I think Luzern has the best scenery among Geneva and Zurich. It has a very nice view of alps, and very peaceful walk alonf the lakeside. |

The city is very expensive. If you go up a mountain, expect the weather to drop and bring proper clothing. A meal with cost at least $20. But the sites are beautiful and I would still go again. |

We have been to Lezern for 4 days, It\'s such a heaven espeacially Pilatus Mt. We catched a train to go to Interlaken and Jungfrau from Luzern. It was so comfy and not to expensive...Everything there is such a good thing..value for money!!!!! We do love Swiss |
