Fabulous breakfast! Cheeses, meats, fruits, veggies, cereal. Lovely location, across from the second covered bridge. About a 15-20 min. walk from the train station.

Breakfast was good, location a little father than expected but for the money it was great. Bathrooms on each floor only had one toilet and one shower, so could take awhile to use one.

The hostel is situated closed to the river bank with a really nice view but it was far from the train station. The room was nice and clean.

Excellent base to enjoy Lucerne. Short walk to everything. Staff were particularly helpful. Good included breakfast. Spacious room and large ensuite a bonus.

Fantastic location, only 10 minute walk from the train station. Hotel was also very clean and breakfast included! Great value accommodation (for Switzerland) - would stay here again.

This was a nice place, with a room with a view.. The windows overlooked the river, and the room was done in a very modern style.. really good place to stay, though the hotel was about 10 minutes away from the station.. it was quite close to the main shopping area too...

Very close to city centre, though building dose not look that nice. Staff helpful. Good breakfast. Recommend if you are looking for a budget hotel or hostel.

We booked a double private room. The room was clean but rather old. The staff were very friendly. We were late to check in but they didn't mind. They even allowed us to use the staff kitchen for microwave our late dinner. The place was easy to find and was right next to old town. We had our own... more We booked a double private room. we only stayed one night but great place to relax. The staff were very helpful and the location is excellent only 10mins walk from station and close to city centre. The best beds we have had our whole trip.

Excellent hostel. Most have balconies over looking the lake and it is right in the centre of town. Cheap parking available. Staff were really excellent, so helpful. Breakfast was excellent and continually maintained. It is a well priced hotel, so families may stay there also.

We had cold showers both of the nights we were there. We notified them on departure, however they spoke to us like complete idiots. No facilities for storing food in a fridge. Parking is difficult.

I had trouble when I first arrived because there was only 1 bed left and they had not made it up after the last person left. I then had to strip it and go and ask for more linen myself and re make it because they didnt believe me that it wasnt made up that morning. There was a very friendly and helpful female receptionist. I am so appreciated all the helps she kindly offered to me. Good breakfast and good service but no wireless at all, the price for getting online is incredibily expensive.

The bedroom was very clean. it was not too far away from the main station, about 20 mins walk. It provided big breakfast, it was the nicest breakfast in our whole trip! and the view from the hostel was very nice as our room was just near the river. recommend you to stay here!

Good points were the breakfast, and it was easy to smuggle food for lunch! When we got there the hotel didnt have a record of our booking so they had to give us a free upgrade to a nicer room! Also the staff let us use the microwave in the kitchen which was handy.

There was way too much noise in the halls in the early hours of the morning. There didn't seem to be any "quiet hours" observed or enforced in this hotel. Consequently, this was not a good place to get a good night's sleep!

staff are nice and friendly. room is clean. it will be even better if there are more shower room as we constantly have to wait for shower/toilet. but afterall, the cleanliness and location is just great.

Brilliant buffet bfast with choice of ham, cheese, egg, bread & drinks. WiFi is possible if you sit out in the balcony and hook onto other's unsecured networks. Brilliant view from our shared bathroom twin room. The problem of many flies flying into room at night if balcony door is left open....

The rooms on rear side suck. Not clean, no proper curtains and lack of privacy from the road just next to window. Not recommended.
