This was a clean hostel which is very new. We had a share bathroom facility which was ok but you do get a sink and mirror in your room if you are in twin/double accommodation like we were. You do have a walk about 20mins before you get to a train station to get into the city. Overall though good...

I didn't call before checking in & the hotel was overbooked. They got me a room in a nearby Anger Hotel, with an upgrade. The room in Anger: old, poorly lit, no internet, shower has only one temperature (too hot!), toilet flush didn't work very well. We loved staying here,everything they claim to have is true. Being older we liked the quiet surroundings,thus the low points for fun.Very friendly helpfull and overall clean!

Great place to stay. Quiet street not far from everything, so was able to see everythjing and get a good night sleep. The ladies on reception were lovley, shame about the man.

They said 10 min. on foot but I walk about 30 min. from train station. There is not easy to find.

Very good location close to rail station - easy 10 minute walk and in quite locality. Close to old city etc. Fun is not what is offering as it is hotel not a hostel so meeting other travellers not so easy.

Great location--quiet & convenient to city center, within easy walking distance of train station, clean rooms & bathrooms, polite staff, & free breakfast. Wide age range of people staying here, from college students to 60+. Great place.

VERY good value for money. My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and we never had to make use of public transport to get to the town centre due to the good location of the hotel. Room was fantastic for the price, very clean, up to date, had our own little balcony with a table. Had a brilliant time, would definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

BED BUGS!! We stayed in mid July and came away with awful bed bug bites all over us! When we spoke to the Hotel about them, they tried to say they were mosquitos. Nice hotel close to everything - a bit of a sterile environment, but it is clean. The breakfast was terrific. I would stay here again - reasonably priced.

We came soaked in the rain at around 7PM and the receptionist was not even concerned about us. There was a lot of attitude at the reception counter. This made us feel alienated and unwelcomed. The heaters weren't working but the only good thing was that our separate bathrooms were pretty clean.

Walking distance to the center of Lucerne. Rooms quite clean and hotel was a good bargain at this price. Only thing to remember is to call ahead to reserve a parking spot. We ended up paying to park on the street overnight.
