   Nice clean & quiet hotel. Big spacious room, nice bathroom, flat screen TV mounted on wall. Breakfast was typical European breakfast, all good! Would recommend.

   The folks here didn't have our reservation in their books when we arrived. They made a big effort to track down the reservation (and eventually found it) and then they gave us a big, gorgeous apartment for the same price as the small room we had booked. We loved it!

   you need to explain more on how to get to the cable car;maybe a shuttle service;explain that its on the top of a beauitful swiss alps mountain:

3. Hotel des Alpes 92%      

   Good location, 5 minutes from the Lucerne train station. Right next to the Chappel Bridge. Breakfast good. Highly recommended.

   great location right on the reusse river. really close to the train station. right in the middle of the old town. breakfast included, and tv in the rooms. a bit expensive but it seems all of switzerland is.

   VERY good value for money. My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and we never had to make use of public transport to get to the town centre due to the good location of the hotel. We also had a lovely view from our room and the room was cleaned on a daily basis. The shared bathrooms...

5. Hotel Luzernerhof 83%      

   This was a very nice 3-star hotel, not some budget one. I booked shared-bath single on the website but got an en-suite double. Not bad.

   Staff was excellent. Always to willing to answer a question or provide expertise. The rooms do not have air conditioning so you must sleep with the window open (like most hotels in europe). The location of the hotel is very central, but then the problem can be noise at night. bring ear plugs.

   This hotel is so nice felt like we were in a flash hotel for very cheap price. Such nice rooms and great shower over the bath, clean. The breakfast was five star hotel standard. treat yourself here and we got upgraded to room with a veiw of the lake and mountains 100%.Only one grumpy lady on...
