Well located, well cleaned, but showing its age. Sound insulation rather weak (fourth floor and hearing the noise of the streets as if windows were open). On the good point : a fully-featured living room with a working kitchen.

it's great ! been there in November and I really liked it. You got a mini kitchen in your room, so you can cook yourself. It's clean, got bathroom, location it's good too, near Hyde Park and Paddington Station.

Excellent stay at the hotel, very reasonably priced and fab central location. The staff were always willing to help with any questions I had, would definitely stay there again and recommend this place to my friends and family. Dani

I made 2 reservations (1st for 3 persons 3 nites and the 2nd for 2 persons 2 nites). I made a mistake on the 2nd reservation (I only needed 1 nite not 2 nites). I contacted the hotel via email to cancel the 2nd nite a month before my arrival but without feedback. I told the reception the situation the first day when I arrived and the receptionist on duty first requested us to pay half of the balance amount as the tariff for 1 nite. My friend pointed out that the tariff for 1st nite was only 42 pounds and the 2nd nite was 53 pounds, so what we needed to pay should be the balance of 1st nite. Then she said we had to pay 42 pounds for the 1st nite, she explained the deposit was taken by agent (that is hostelworld.com). As we have no choice but to accept the offer. However, we wondered why we still need to pay the whole nite tariff. How about if we didn't make any mistake and just reserve 1 nite? In this sense, our previous reservation was considered cancelled and we were treated as a walk-in customers. Learned from this experience, we would like to remind other travellers to take extra attention when making reservation with this hotel.close

A few cosmetic things could do being attended to e.g. one of the central light shades was missing, also the tv cabinet was broken. No remote for the TV and no plug for the wash basin. However, a second cereal bowl and replacement of light bulb in bedside lamp were dealt with promptly.

The room was clean, but wWe found some bugs in the bed, and it wasn't a good experience because we didn'tknow what sort of bugs they were (dangerous or not). Staff immediately move ourselves in another apartment, but it was more little (maybe designed for one person).Thank you.

I wasn't after a place that partied all night, so I gladly rate the fun at a neutral.close
