London is, absolutly, one of the most magnificent cities in all the world. |

London is just a fun place to go and see some of those famous sites from many movies including Harry Potter, Notting Hill, etc. Definitely worth a trip. |

Beautifull city, so many to explore. It was a pity that there was not much eating-facilities in the shopping areas |

The sights of the city are awesome. The people were wonderful. The US Dollar conversion is horrible. Because of this, it was a very expensive city to visit! Overall, I love London! |

London in November |
|
|
 |
My partner and I definitely felt in love with London.
We stayed one week enjoying the xmas decoration all around the city even though it was still november. There are so many things to see and do, the tube system itself is another world worth to see. Everything seems to work easely and the way it should. Wanna go back!
It\'s a little too expensive for poor italians on budget.. |

There is so much to see and do in London that you could spend weeks there and still not get it all done. It seems best to focus on one area of town at a time to try to make the most of your visit. I highly recommend the Globe Theatre, it was an excellent place to visit! |

good location - just two minutes from the Paddington tube. but the room i\'ve been staying at was untidy, smells disgusting. however breakfast was good! |

Transportation in London is very expensive |
|
|
 |
been there twice: once for interview and once for exam. don\'t like it, too large and cold. very crowded during rush hours. but really a variety of choices of almost anything and the transportation is efficient and convinient. |

London\'s always worth for watching football games in English football leagues as they have a lot of teams in the first three leagues with many famous clubs among them. |

London is a great city, it has everything, shops, culture, diversity , restaurants for all budgets and great nightlife. |

London\'s hustle and bustle makes one giddy, the city lights and racket spin like a merry go round in our sound sleep in this quiet hostel whose location is very handy to take a breath of fresh air before diving forth in the lookout for a job or for the exquisite beauty of London scape and people. The breakfast was not so much a land of milk and honey as a means to meet with friends to be around a bowl of tea |

Nightlife was great, loads of interesting peeps and brilliant shops... just for the love of God don\'t mix Japanese food, plum wine, beefburgers and Jack Daniels in one night. :/
You have been warned. |

The hardest thing: coffe-shops closing about 19h, dinners served since 18h... hard timings to an spanish :) |

Very small room that only fits the bed and your luggage with a tiny shower. The tv didnt work properly but they sent someone up straight away to fix it. However, location was great and the hotel was in a lovely street. |

Love it, its vibrant, beautiful, dirty, alive, you will meet people from every walk of life & leave with a feeling of sadness, unless you are like me & decide to pack up & move there & live it! |

The people in London are diverse, lively, and happy. So much good culture, history, and fun to be had. You could never see all there is to see, and you could never be bored. |

If you hesitate to come to London, what I want to say is just GO! London is one of the most fabulous cities in the world. Even though eveything is a bit expensive comepared to other cities, it\'s still worth your money. Lots of fun, much to see! Especially, you can enjoy a lot of different cultures in this city. For example, you can have Japanese style breakfast, Indian style lunch, and Dutch style dinner on the same day in this city! :D As British food has its bad reputation, you can taste all different foods from all over the world! Trying fish \'n\' chips is also still good, though. :D |

Upon arriving, we were told to pay £14 pounds more than quoted on this website. Simone told us it was something about 17.5% tax. Wehad the receipt and everything printed off from hostel world saying we owed £59.36 and we had to pay over £70. Don't understand why we weren't notified of this "tax" before arriving. Aside from this one drawback, it was a decent hostel. |

I adore this city! People everywhere, museums, galleries, West End shows galore! The London Underground is fabulous, cheap, and easy to navigate. There are great restaurants, including the original Hard Rock Cafe. Go to London! |

It is a great city. It really is. It\'s just not cheap.
It is very big however really everything you want unless going for proper English sightseeing or going to see a game/concert is generally in Zones 1 and 2. Public transport despite what Londoners always say is really quite good by world standards. Or at least in comparison to Sydney, Australia its amazing.
Some people in hostels are really great amazing people, though it being such an international city means that often there isn\'t that much common language.
You\'ll meet all types! |

London has a really complicated metro system but it goes almost everywhere so that is really helpful. There are a lot of places that you can walk to and take pictures of and most of the musuems are free, so it isn´t necessary to spend a lot of money on that. St. Paul´s is amazing. The weather sucks. Bring and umbrella, warm windproof coat and gloves. The tourist info office gave us a lot of information that was completely wrong so watch out for that. |

Very nice hostel, was very clean and was very conviently located to London Bridge Underground station, so sight seeing was a breeze. Staff was help full and the bar was quite busy, lots of pubs in area as well as places to eat. |

London is overcrowding! You can\'t get anywhere without squeezing through a crowd of people. In fact, when i was there, I heard the news that the tube workers were planning a strike as they could not cope with the number of Underground commuters everyday. |

One of the most important cities of the world, uncountable things to do, lots of historic significance, unique experience of cultural diversity/multilinguism/interculturism, free museums bad weather and yet you will want to visit London again and again and again |

While in London my friends and I were faced with two kinds of weather, glorious sunny/fluffy cloud skies, and then biting cold. If we were there longer I am sure the people would warm up a bit but man it takes a while. Maybe they can be jaded to travelers I guess. But I loved the diversity there and it reminded me of California. The indian food we had there was excellent. We tried the traditional fish and chips but it was nothing to write home about. Really what the english do best is tea and sweets. Clotted cream is our new addiction. Shopping in soho and camden town is fierce. I loved the more unique stores with the crazy printed stockings! Partying there is much like it is for us back home. We have hollywood and a club scene is the same no matter where you go. But man I really had my share of guys that wanted to keep dancing with me. The bartenders at this one club sucked ass though. The sights were great, St. James Park near Buckingham Palace is beautiful. London is my kind of place. The people are style\'n and its great that we all speak the same language. Oh and the tube. I flipp\'n love the tube. It is the easiest thing to get around on. If you get lost, then shame on you. |

Didn\'t like the hostel, you have to pay for everything, the lockers are too small you can\\\'t even put a back-pack in it. You only have an hour an a half to take you breakfast, when you are 4 in a room you don\\\'t have time to take your shower before eating. You are not allowed to DRINK ANYTHING in the common room if you didn\\\'t buy your drink at the hostel.
As the hostel is located in the 2nd zone, the travel card for the underground is way too expensive. The towels cost £1 + £5 deposit. the padlocks cost £5. If you want to use the internet, you\\\'d better go to the cyber cafe down the street, you\\\'ll save £0.50 per hour.I won\\\'t come back. |

I can\'t really comment on the partying or shopping part of it since I didn\'t get to do much of either because I was only there for 3 nights, 2 nights I met up with my best friend and her boyfriend and we were all jet-lagged and exhausted. If you don\'t mind eating sandwiches for lunch and dinner, or going to the local Sainsbury\'s then you can manage lunch and dinner on about 15GBP.
There\'s plenty of culture and free museums and galleries in London, so if not for all the other expensive stuff like accomodation and food, then at least 90% of those places are free.
I\'ve heard horror stories about the weather in London, but I got EXTREMELY lucky in that all 3 days were beautiful, sunny and warm. I\'ll be back again in mid-June for another 3 nights so maybe I can be a little bit more insightful. |

staff was nice but hard to find. hostel seemed clean at first glance but we were absolutely devoured by bedbugs. it looked like we cought the chickenpox. there was a drunk guy always singing loudly at all hours. the bar downstairs was good but the hostel is very far from everything and the neighborhood is scary. the other travellers were very nice though. the internet was unavailable half way through our stay due to the hostel not paying the bill. a sad state of affairs overall. |

Clink Hostel charged 43.2 pounds sterling(Hong Kong $678 according to the exchnage rate) on my credit card. It was a wrong charge. Clink has not responded and given me back the money. Would anyone suggest some legal advice for me? |

There is a ton of stuff to do in London, but unfortunately a lot of it is expensive. Scope out some of the free stuff ahead of time. Examples: British Museum, British Library, Tate Modern, Tate Britain. |

London is one of my favorite European cities. It\'s got a great mix of the historical, cultural and current working vibes. My main advice- invest in an Oyster card to get cheaper Tube fare. Also, a play at the Globe Theatre is an unforgettable experience. |

London was cold and gloomy!! My goal was to enjoy an authentic meal in every place I visited and I could not get that from London. The first night I was there I had Chinese. Second day, I had Japonese for lunch and Indian for Dinner! And this is after searching for something for over an hour for every meal!! London would not be my first choice for my next visit unless I have a lot of money to waste! And the people were not that friendly either! |

It rained. I hear that happens pretty often there.
$8 to take the subway three stops. (Day pass the day before was worthwhile).
The rib place at piccadilly circus is good.
They have a bunch of stuff for looking at. It\'s alright.
Stuff seems less expensive than it is but then it\'s pounds not dollars so it\'s really out of hand. |
