   London is probably one of the best cities in the world for ethnic food and Patara is one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever eaten in. What surprises me is that this is a chain of restaurants - apparently they are in many countries and there are at least three others in various parts of London. I cannot speak for any of the others, but if they are as good as this one in Soho, go to the nearest one as soon as you can!close

   Great Italian restaurant. A real buzz around the place, even at lunchtime. Slight focus on fish which they do really well. I had a mixed fish grill which was excellent. Not cheap but not outrageous either. Handy to Chelsea and Knightsbridge.

   Been here a few times and it's alwasy amazing, Hakkasan is Asian Fusion, service is great, cocktails are divine but book in advance they have 2hr dining slots and it doesnt really matter how much you spend they stick to it.    Quite simply the best bar/restaurant in North London - worth the trek to Crouch End, away from central London's pretenders. Groovy, tasty, funky, cool. Jerk chicken and akee saltfish a speciality. Just awesome. Bob Dylan's a fan.
