staff were really helpful, location is right on the circle line, which has all the major attractions in london. the carpet in the room was filthy, but the bedding was really comfortable and clean. a little expensive to have dirty carpets in the room and a shotty toilet.

This hostel is awesome! We booked a triple room. It is clean and tidy. In addition, the hostel is near the main street in Bayswater where you can get loads of restaurants and shops! The major drawback was that wifi was charged at quite a high rate.......

The rooms definitely need some refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. In our room no tap was working and we couldn't take a shower on the first night. The following day they promised to send somebody to check it, but nobody showed up, so they eventually let us move to another room, except they forgot to bring us a new key. I've been in better budget hotels in London.close

A cool place to stay on a low budget, it's clean, friendly and has decent facilities. The room was decent enough though the curtains didn't fully close. Otherwise it was great and I plan to stay there again next time, whetehr for fun or business!

The continental breakfast every morning was delicious and the wait staff was pleasant and punctual. The concierge helped us plan our days so that we could see and do as much as possible without spending too much, which is a challenge in a city as pricey as London. Overall, we were very pleased with Umi. We had a great time in London and the hotel is always an important part of the experience!!!close

I read on TripAdvisor that some of the rooms hadn't been decorated recently but mine was very nice. As a typical girl I was pleased to find an iron in the room, three large mirrors and plenty of sockets to plug everything into. There was also a kettle and lots of drawers and cupboards to store all my belongings. The staff were helpful and welcoming and the location was perfect for me. It is within Zone 1 and near to a tube station and lots or shops, bars and restaurants. Even so the street itself is quiet and overlooks a large garden.close

The area is lovely and within easy reach of a shopping center and two tube stations. Well recomended!! I had a fantastic weekend here!! Also give westminster a visit at night, its brilliant. And Leicester Square has great night life- Ruby Blues was a good club.close

Internet access price is very expensive (£3/h) compared to prices in the area. Wireless connection is poor and you can end up wasting your whole hour just trying to get connected.

I stayed here back when it was called the Westminster Hotel but I'm sure it hasn't changed that much? Anyway, back then it was great. Five minutes walk from two tube stations, five minutes walk from Hyde Park and five minutes walk from Notting Hill. Have stayed there twice and would stay there...

Everything at the Westminster Hotel was very nice. We were a family of four and had a very comfortable and clean room with great water pressure in the shower. Also found the staff very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely choose the Westminister again.

I thought that the Westminster was a lovely hotel for my budget. The hotel staff was more than helpful with our needs and went out of their way to help us with purchasing tickets for a musical. I thouroughly enjoyed my stay at the Westminster and in London.

A bit pricey for our budget, but we loved this place! Very clean and nice, great staff, nice cafe... a good choice for a couple who want to undulge a bit and stay somewhere nice, without spending a fortune.
