Really well kept, and all the staff were extremely helpful and nice. They even offered to hold or bags for us.

This was a really good place to stay. Not far at all from Earls court tube stop which is handy if coming from Heathrow as the stop is on the Picadilly line. The room was small but perfect really for me as it had a double bed and ensuite. The staff were great also. It is in a very good location too.

For 55 pounds per night in a 2-star hotel, we thought we'd have a regular-sized room, instead of one which could have been likened to a cell, it was so tiny.

The hotel was very helpful in accommodating us - giving us a discounted rate for one night once they'd realized what happened to us. Since ours was a 2 night stay, they kept us well informed of their availability (since they, and all other nearby hotels, were fully booked). The staff were delightfully courteous and thoroughly helpful.close

I have successfully booked rooms through hostelworld at least 6 times before, and this is the first major letdown. My booking numbers are 2672-8712326,-8712299 and -8712280, and they clearly state the fact Private Bathroom (mailed to me on 14th December) in the room details section, because they were the kind of rooms we always book when we go to London. In the hotel we were forced to pay £40 more in order to get private bathrooms! I expect this matter to be solved at once. I've been very pleased with Hostelworld till this booking, but I'm being totally honest with you, that if this matter remains unsolved, I will not be in any contact with hostelworld any more. By the way, there were a mouse (!) in one of the rooms, on two different days. Sincerely Yours, Juha Murtolahti mailto:juha.murtolahti@autobest.ficlose

The location is convenient and breakfast is good. The only downside of the hotel was the cleanliness. Some things would be simple to fix (wipe the shelf in the closet and the walls near the sink, for example), but I suspect there is a problem with bugs. I had to be moved from my first room as my pillow had about 20 tiny bugs crawling on it when I went to get into bed. The staff was great about immediately moving me to another room, but I came away from there with several nasty bites that I got while sleeping.close

The tube station is very close by and it's on a great line that can get you anywhere you want to go. On the other end of the street, there are many places to eat/drink...all within a short walk. Small rooms, and even smaller bathrooms (single private with onsuite). Staff are fun and friendly. Good free breakfasts in the morning but they only go until 9:00 a.m. so you have to get up early. Very close to the metro and only three stops from Victoria station. Nice area.
