Look, it's nothing flash, but has a location that can't be beaten and the staff were always helpful. Breakfast served every morning to your door. If you are used to 5 star, this is not the place. On the other hand it's cheap and less than 100m from Paddington.

Went to stay here, they were over booked so got taken to another hotel which was even worse.dont advise it as it was dirty, horrid i wouldnt put my worst enemy in one of the rooms do not touch this hotel pay a little extra

Dust over the beds. Good breakfast in room (no milk), but not very clean spoons and cups. Good location and good staff.

room was a bit small for three persons, also the only closet was broken. the shower in the room had no pressure. Excellent location and friendly staff.

The room is incredible small and unacceptable. The worst hotel I ever stayed. The shared-bathroom is dirty and disgusting. The room is close to the metro station therefore we didn't sleep well because the room was shaking as the tube passed through. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

At first, when we arrived in the middle of the night we were a little suspicous. But everything was ok, but the bed was a tragedy! But we would not hesitate to return.

When we arrivd we were told there was a problem with our room but they booked us into another otel very close by and at the same price. It was clean and friendly and breakfast was ok & delivered to teh room.

they gave away our reservation and then tried to put 4 of us in 1 bunk bed at a "discounted rate" of 50 pounds. Terrible experience.

Location was unbeatable, just facing the Paddington Metro and good for the interchange to Healthrow airport when you are at your last day in London. The bad was the toliet, the napkins there seems placed for a long time and dirty. The room was so small and hot and noisy at night. Could book a...

I think the hotell was better then I expected, it's noyhing fancy, but it has it's charm. you got everything you need, bed and sink in the room and a bathroom down the hall. and the location was very good, close to the underground og busses! :)

The hostel was just perfect for that money we paid! Breakfast was that much, that we ate it the whole day. The hostel was very small, but clean and the location could not be better. We had a great stay for the whole week!!!

Ok for that price. Close to a loud road. Staff is very friendly. Free breakfast is served served in your bedroom every morning. The location is perfect, very close to a big station. Pubs and restaurants close by. 5 Minutes walking to Hyde Park.

WARNING. Poor quality! We didn´t even have water in the tabs when wanted to take a shower in the shared bathroom, where the door also couldn´t close. very nice hotel located in great area - close to the centre of the city - easy bus and tube access. quite clean, staff was nice and polite, hotels needs some redecoration but for the price they charge - it's what or even more than what you can expect for the money.

The Metro Hotel could do with renovating, but it is in a great location for transport, is handy to internet, supermarkets and food outlets. Even pretty close to Hyde Park. Staff were pleasant and there was enough breakfast, even if it was prepackaged. But hey, it´s a budget hotel.

The location of this hotel was actually very good - very close to Paddington station, but it took a while for us to find it due to the confusing numbering of houses on that street and the small logo of the hotel. The receptionist was friendly and kind, even if we arrived later than scheduled due to train delay. There was not much fun in there, but the room and the shared bathroom was fairly clean. Our room (3-bed private shared bathroom) was rather small, but we found an unexpected shower cubicle included... Again, although the shower head couldn't be hung on the holder, the cubicle itself was clean. Delivering breakfast to the rooms at scheduled time was a good idea, but I believe continental breakfast could also be nice and fresh - it'll be much more personal and welcome than the provided cold packed long-life sugary products. As we're all deep sleepers, we didn't have the trouble with the train noises, etc. Anyway, it's ok to stay there for a short period, but I'm afraid we wouldn't like to have their breakfast for more than 1 day...close

Now, on 03/08/08, some one made $1600.00 worth of unauthorized charges on the credit card I used to reserve and pay for this hotel. What's more, that charges were made at a store down the street from the hotel!! I had and still have my credit card on me at all times and when I paid I remember they had my card number written down by hand. The staff seemed nice, and I cannot say for sure if it was them, or the cleaning service, or a guest who gained access to their billing records, but this is too much to be coincidence and I would not stay here nor recommend anyone stay here.Also, I am having this matter investigated from a few different angles. Keep in mind the only other place I stayed at in London was the Park Lane Sheraton for 175 Euros a night and I do not think the employees here stole my information! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!close
