Good value for money. Unfortunately the breakfast is poor, but our room was quite big, new towels every day and the staff was really very nice and helpfull. No tube connection into the center of London, but instead good train and bus connections nearby.

Rude Staff. Booked an ensuite and was given a room with a bathroom next door. Was promised that the bathroom was just mine, however it seems that all the B&B used this bathroom.

We had a nice and very clean room, with a comfortable bed though a bit small, and a nice bathroom. The breakfast is nothing special. The rooms are above a pub, but they are quiet after midnight. The area is nice, close to Peckham Rye Lane, which is full of lively, colourful African shops, and it did not look dangerous at night. There is no tube, but many buses and a train line will take you to the most popular London destinations in about 30 minutes.close

Overall the place was charming and quiet. Unfortunately, we removed the "Do Not Disturb" sign and came back to find poorly made beds and what looked like unclean towels. Otherwise, the place was quite charming and the staff was friendly.

A small middle class town with markets close by and a little shopping strip. Everything is about a 5 minute walk away incl transport. The rooms need new carpeting, apart from that the beds were comfy and the rooms were pretty spacious.close

Having the pub downstairs is great, as long as you don't mind a bit of loud music into the night. The staff were helpful and laid back which was great.

This place is incredibly cheap for London; that should be said first thing. If they had a value rating, I would give it a 10 out of 10, no question. If they had a value rating, I would give it a 10 out of 10, no question. Also, while cab drivers will make fun of you for staying in the Peckam neighborhood, it is actually not bad (at least for my Brooklyn sensibilities, think Eastern Parkway and Bedford if it crashed into Park Slope, a large immigrant community, but also right on the edge of a large hipster family community), ESPECIALLY if you don't mind taking London's incredibly easy to navigate bus system (walk 3 blocks to Peckham station, buy a 3.50 pound all day pass, and you can get anywhere). My room was made up everyday, and the place was quite tidy, if a bit dingy. My only complaint was that the fire alarm (in the form a piercing school bell) kept sounding inexplicably once or twice a day ( including at around 1am on the first night) -this is a problem I am sure that will be fixed. Bottom line, if you are spending dollars, which are worth practically nothing in England, then this place in conjunction with a bus pass is definitely the cheapest possible way to go. It takes about 30 minutes to get to London Bridge once you've got on the bus, which run every 5 minutes or so.close
