We arrived after a 25hr flight only to find out that check in is at 2pm (even though we requested 10am hostelworld). First staff was fairly rude, but the rest were alright. Restaurant downstairs played loud music until about 1:30am and the small toilet didn't really help (I can't use the sink when brushing my teeth without the door open). Overall s stay was acceptable, but unlikely to return.close

Best place to stay in London, if you don't want to pay to much but nevertheless have a pleasant stay in a hotel!

Quiet area in the city centre (Hyde park), close to an underground station to access every interesting place in less than 15 minutes, friendly staff, clean an cosy room... what else can I say? The perfect place to spend a few days in London.

In addition, it only includes cereal (corn flakes with whole milk only), toasts (of white bread only) and croissants. We have been in places much cheaper that this hotel and have had better breakfasts. The cleanliness, location and security are very good, but the rooms, specially the bathrooms) are small. If they start taking care of details they will perform much betterclose

The room was tiny and it was really annoying that the fan went on with the light in the bathroom and didn't turn off once you hit the switch. The location was good, though it will be better now that Lancaster Gate has reopened because traveling on the District/Circle line (from Paddington) can be...

Good hotel for London. Close to Paddington Station, London Underground, and, and Hyde Park. Be sure to take a shortwalk to Queensway for great Asian food. When booking ahead, be sure to ask for largest room in the suite you want....they are on the small side. Best of all, the front desk...

The hotel is a short walk from paddington station, which has a heathrow express train in it, very clean, cramped but comfortable. Breakfast is also delivered to your room and made available for take away which was quite convienient.

Not a very lively neighborhood but very close to Paddington Station. There are many small grocery stores near by to by food. The staff is very friendly and were very helpful in making sure we took the correct underground train due to constructions. The room and bathroom were very small but were very clean. It appears that the hotel was recently remondeld and evidently the restaurant is not finished so breakfest is delivered to your room (bread, yogurt, juice, bannana, and granola bar). Thre is also coffee and tea in the room and the lift works! I highly recommend if you want a budget hotel in a quiet neighborhood.close

Our stay was very pleasant overall. We found the spaces a bit cramped but we were there just to sleep over so it wasn't a problem. Complimentary breakfast was a nice gesture - shame the croissants were stale one morning. All in all, I'd probably stay here again in the future - very clean, quiet...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The brown bag breakfast was better than nothing, a nice gesture. Room was clean and quiet. The water system lacked pressure on the top floor, but was adequate. All in all it was very pleasant and convenient to Paddington station.

There is no air-conditioning but strangely enough this wasn't a problem even though we visited during the worst heat wave (30 C). Breakfast was complimentary during out stay. The hotel is located right by Hyde Park, within walking distance to nearly everything but on a quiet side-street. There's a mini-mart (open til 11pm) right next to the hotel and a few steps away from the entrance lies a pub as well as a diner where one can have breakfast. Overall, much more and much better than we'd expected on such short notice and on such a tight budget.close

A very clean place and is at a fair price. But if you want a room for space this is not for you. Location is great, safe area and tube is close. Perfect if you need to leave or arrive from padington station. less than 4 mins walk. Also lots of resturants and cafes close by

The Double Ensuite was better than I had expected. Decent location to Hyde Park and pricier restaurants. Weak shower pressure/temperature regulation. All in all, nice place, would recommend.

Great place. Friendly staff and location was perfect for me and my friends. A bit away from Picadilly, but that was a bonus for me. Close to the park and Notting Hill. Clean and safe.... would stay again for sure!

Rooms are TINY (think two people cant both try to walk to opposite ends of the room at the same time) but the location is unbeatable. Given the choice I'd stay somewhere farther from the action where the rooms are bigger and more amenitities are offered. Not worth the spatial sacrafice.
