Tipico Bed and Breakfast londinense, bastante bien hubicado por que estaba muy cerca del metro, y total, para dormir y ducharnos, era lo que buscabamos teniendo en cuenta como son este tipo de lugares en Londres.

The room was great, basic but clean and with everything you need. Breakfast was poor.

It would have been fine, if the room was clean. You would get a long way with a vacuumcleaner and a damp cloth. And of course, if the former guests rubbish was removed. It does not help on the review that we stepped in used ear plugs and fishoil tablets.

Location is good: 5 minutes walk from Paddington station. Cozy room and unfriendly staff.

Every night I had to sleep with the window open because there was smell of cigarettes everywhere (although there are no smoking signs in the corridors)

BEDBUGS and COCKROACHES!!!! It was cheap but if I had known there would be insects in my bed I would have never booked a room in this place. I wouldn't have expected bugs in a so called "hotel"...Even if it's a budget hotel...

The shower was cold, even though the water in the basin was hot. The room was great, basic but clean and with everything you need. Breakfast was good for the price. I would book the Aquarius again.

We choked on the clouds of smoke as we checked-in (in front of the "no smoking" sign right behind the clerk). We avoided all contact with the staff and skipped breakfasts because the place was a dump, a dive, a disaster. Soap left on the toilet cistern without wrappers for us to use. Exposed holes in the tiling beneath the shower, pipes banged early in the morning, heard every footstep the people above us made. Windows didn't lock or close properly and we were right in front of the sidewalk and at the mercy of anybody trying to break in (or peer in from the front porch, as our room was accessible through the dirty curtains that didn't close properly). The fridge was old and didn't get cold. The towels had stains on them. Rag left in the closet. Bed creaked, bugs underneath the sheet. I don't think this should be called a "discount hotel" or hostel. I have stayed in group hostels much better than this and for cheaper prices, even in London!!! I would never go back. Never recommend it to anybody. I would recommend you remove it from hostelword.com.close

Very rude and unhelpful staff, grotty rooms with random wires sticking out from the walls, an uncleaned shower, so much light coming from the gaps in the curtains, through the curtains themselves and under the door that it was almost impossible to sleep - the low cost isn't worth it, find...

No hotwater when i needed it, no heating - and its winter!!!! I am fairly used to bad budget hotels but this is really pretty appalling. Thank goodness it was only for a night!

I did get used to that; hoever, I did not get used to the drilling which went on from 2.30am to 5am. We did complain about it during the night but apparently it was just as bad in all other rooms and it was fully book. We did not get offered any compensation for our ordeal which pretty much spoiled our whole weekend as all we wanted to do was go to sleep.close

It was a reasonable price for London lodging. The breakfast is free which is a plus (toast, coffee, tea, jam). The only bad things is that the hotel is located behind the Earl's Court Underground station so you can constantly hear the trains pass by.
