The triple bedroom (room 15) was too small for three persons. We only had 2 chairs for three persons. But the greek receptionist was very pleasant.

A smoking person lived in our room before, so it smelled bad all around. However, Paddington station is near. Small shops open until late and internet cafe at hand were convenient, also. Room had a TV set as well.

The beds took up most of the room, but really all we needed was a place to crash so it was fine. The best part is that it is literally a block away from the Paddington underground and train station, so we didn't have to drag our luggage around. They don't clean your room or anything and they only gave us a new towel once, but you have to expect that for the price. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to London on a budget.close

Very nice staff always willing to help. Breakfast was good and in large quantity. It was clean and close to a tube stop. The tube does run underneath so during tube hours there is constant rumbling, but now as bad as I thought it may be. It is on a quieter street so the car and people noise...

a different receptionist each day, a very very very tiny small room for 4, very bad soundproofing, a horrible baby dejeuné served in the room to eat on the bed (1 tray for 4) with yoghurt, decongelé bun and dry gatau, a poor thermal insulation, so we absolutely do not advice you to use this...

The bed and pillow were hard and the heating not really on in my room - I folded the pillow in half and put a fleece on it to make it softer+warmer, and grabbed a blanket from the wardrobe.close

I stayed in a single and felt the need to prop my door with a chair. The walls were paper thin, the bed cover disgusting and the room shook from the tube trains going by. There was a problem with the heat as well and I nearly froze the first night.

Only negative thing was that you could feel the tube going past but it wasn't annoying, only slightly disturbing. Overall impression is really good value for money at this hostel.close
