I stayed there 1 night. This hostel is located relatevly far from the center. In spite of that I stayed in a single room, it was quite noisy in the night, doors clapped and I hear voices from outside. Chek out time is 10 am, so it is impossible to sleep long. As a result on thr next day I was...

The building was gorgeous and in a great location. However, my room was right next to the showers which was very noisy and there was a fan or something that just wouldn't shut up!!! My room was clean but the bathrooms were pretty gross! I think there would only be a few changes to make to make this hostel fab!close

It was one of the most beautiful places I stayed. The district was very quiet and picturesque and the room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The kitchen facilities superb and the bathroom a real bathroom. The location was perfect to me that I prefer quiet places. I strongly recommend this place.

really nice and quiet place to recover your energies after a long day, just keep in mind that if you have heavy luggage walking up the hill could be a problem.

Although a little out of the centre, it was in a lovely residential area and very quite. Place was spotlessly clean and bargain price for a single room

A little out of the way and a little bit more than difficult to find if you don't have a clue or a map. But, it is clean and is pretty cheap for London. (It's also in zone 3 of the metro so you'll have to fork out a buy the day pass that includes zone 3.)

Ground floor rooms lack security. Someone broke in to another room during my stay when the guard was asleep!

There was a break-in the first night while the security guard was asleep. A girl opened her door to his knoking and was attacked. She was lucky to be rescued by her neighboors. Be careful in this neighboorhood and I hope they improve security in this hall!

I love Furnival - I lived there a few years ago when I went to the University and when I found out rooms were available over the summer it was the only place I considered staying.

Great place if you like quiet. For those not sure how difficult it is to reach, it is only 3-4 bus stops up the hill from Archway Tube. Highgate Village is a 5 min walk away.

I give it the highest compliment: next time I'm in London I'll be staying at Furnival House. The neighborhood is quiet and leafy but convenient to central London, and the facilities - kitchen, shower and bedroom - were clean and in excellent condition.

Thank you!!! We had a really nice stay at Furnival House! Very peaceful place after spending the day in the crowded city, very helpful and friendly staff, little bit too warm, but clean rooms, beautiful suburban area and good bus+tube connection to the city. Just a great place to stay!!!
