Clean and in a very nice area of London. Not the best hostel for meeting people, as it seems to be mostly used by school groups. Lounges and a TV downsatirs though, and the breakfast is great although not free.

Extremely well-functioning hostel: clean light rooms, helpful staff eager to provide any kinds of small but necessary things: from baggare room, cheap phone calls home to a cup of coffee in the lobby. And 12-bed room turned out to be 7-bed room! Would stay there again

I've loved every single Meininger I've stayed at. Yes, they're full of groups, but once again, I received a free upgrade - from a 12 bed to a 4-bed, for the same price!

The staff was great and the hostel definatelly has a character! Although it doesn't have much fun elements, it doesn't matter, you really don't need them, the hostel itself is special.

The hostel, and we stayed in a twelve bed mixed dorm was fabulous. Everything was clean and the people staying in the room were all very respectful and nice to one another. My only compliant was that there wasn't much to do in terms of nightlife in the area, but the hostel is just within walking distance of the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert, which cannot be beat. Also, the bathrooms (there were two in our room of 12 which was nice) was that they were rather small (think the size of an airplane bathroom, but add a shower). Overall, great hostel and I would definitely come back again!close
