Closer to the tube (mile end station) but pretty far from anything else. Getting into the center took a good 45minutes.

Very nice place to stay with great facilities such as coffee house and good cheap food. Comfortable beds and lock-in available. I also like the security issue, which made me feel safe in the QMUL. Friendly and reliable staff.

The staff were the biggest put down. We had a dirty fridge which we asked to be cleaned up and did not get any help even after repeated requests. Customer service is poor throughout the UK. If your looking for a friendly customer experience youll be disappointed - this is true for all over the UK...

Very clean, hotel atmosphere, NOT a typical hostel but quiet, had a fridge in the room, a supermarket close enough, some restaurants, 5 minutes from Mile End station. We would stay there again.

It's a much better way to spend your time in london. Imagine that you can get for the price of a night in a 18 bed hostel a whole room only for you. Better, you have a whole kitchen and a bathroom to divide by 5 people only. Great. Ah! Did I say it has a amazing fast internet connection?

Campus Accomodation was built in 2004 so everthing is quite new and clean. It took 10 min to walk to Mile End station from where you can travel with district and central line to all important sights in london. Price value of this hostel is excellent.

It's about a block and a half from the Mile End tube station (Central, District, and Hammersmith lines). The rooms and bath rooms are ultra clean. QMUL is obsessed with cleaning!! The cleaning staff go thru each dorm like Mr. Clean on to much coffee! I stayed at Maynard and Beaumont Court, both are in the Westfield Student Village. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers is phenomenal! My room at Beaumont has a small fridge! The check in desk is manned 24 hours a day, as is the entrance to the university. If you know tons of people in London, have a set plans, or know your way around the city blindfold - this is the place for you. If you are new to London, the tube scares you, you aren't adventurous or like new places; find another place to stay. Mile End is way East London (not as far as the wilds of zone 3 LOL) zone 2. It takes 27 minutes on the District line to get to Victoria. It takes almost 25 to get to Holborn (switch here for Leicester Square) on the Central Line and its ALWAYS crowded. If you want to be in the "thick" of London with wild parties and crowds this is not the place for you. QMUL is PERFECT if you know your way around town, like peace and quiet, obsessed with cleanliness, and want something inexpensive but worth the money! There is an internet cafe about 5 businesses down and a great chicken and chips take away 4 doors down. There is a grocery store at the end of the block. It's easy access to busses 25 and 205: both will get you where you need to go. There is also a bus stop just around the corner that services other stops. QMUL was PERFECT for my trip and will book here until my mate buys a flat/house in Essex.close

I think letting out halls of residence at the rates you offer is an excellent idea and the accommodation adequately met my needs. The on-campus breakfasts were excellent and I would highly recommend this option to my friends and acquiantances. Could you please email me to let me know whether this option is available over the Xmas/New Year period?close

The room is simple, but you have everything you need: refrigerator, desk, wardrobe and a comfortable bed with bed sheats. The whole student residence is quiet at night, so you can sleep well. The student residence is about 5 min from Mile End station and you can be at the Tower of London in 20 min. by tube. I recommend this place to everybody who would like to have his/her own room and sleep well at night. It is not really in the centre of London, but very close.close

one comment on the cleaners is that they knock on my doors 3 times in one morning, every morning i get waken up by them, i understand they have to do their job to service the rooms but they just knocked and without waiting opened my door. They should have waited for me to open the door for them.
