A tall, narrow place. Ask for a room on the second rather than the fourth floor--you'll thank me. Little TV room with paid internet, little kitchen with free breakfast, teeny-tiny courtyard. I spent lot of time in the British Museum (two minutes' walk) so it was only a problem when I got rained...

I lived in the annexe which is a block away. I had to go back and forth between buildings for things like the luggage room and the kitchen.

OK for 1 night max, small and clean room w/ squeaky floorboards. We were in a separate building to the main building that had a guest kitchen, so that was a bit inconvenient.

I almost didn't get back my key deposit because I was 10 minutes past the check out time. I know rules are rules but I was trying to help out another traveler thus my ten minutes being late. Other then that this was a decent hostel to stay at with lots of friendly people ready to socialize. I would definitely recommend this hostel.close

I was expecting Wifi, but that was not available. We were placed in a room not in the main building which was not as as nice and the sound proofing was non existent. Kitchen/breakfast area was small and quite crowded. But the location near the British Museum was peaceful and nice!

The staff could not have been nicer. The location wasn't exactly by the main tourist attractions, but it was close to most of the night life anyway and only a short tube ride from the sights. Recommend it to anyone going to London, especially if you want a friendly, youthful staff.

The costs for tickets to airport stansted are higher than the prices written on the pinboard in the hostel! I'd appreciate it to have up-to-date-information on the board. Anyhow - i enjoyed the stay a lot!

The toilets are a little uncomfortable (on the 1st floor a big soap dispenser above a minuscule sink prevents washing up without flooding all around) but very clean. The included breakfast is satisfactory. The staff organise a "pub crawl" every Saturday, maybe they should add some other event during the week to make this very quiet hostel a little more fun. However, I enjoyed my stay and I warmly suggest this hostel!close

Loved it here! One of our favorites of the trip. Gutmar, the hostel manager, is fantastic! The bathrooms are cleaned three times a day. Breakfast is also very good. Slightly different from day to day. Lots of DVDs to watch too if you need a break. Highly recommended!

We had to stay in the other building(not the main one) that was kind of down an alley way. The security is good because they have codes to get into the building and they change everyday. Location is close to an Underground station.

The lockers underneath the beds sounded like screaching demons of hell when you pulled on them. Some lubrication is in order. It was not uncommon to be woken up 13 times during the night by roommates.
