Ok hostel, was relatively clean and the staff wasn't awful. the breakfast wasn't great, but we have hard eating restrictions, so we rarely have good experiences with free breakfasts.close

My boyfriend and I laughed hysterically upon entering the room: how could you call that closet a bedroom? You could reach every wall of the room from a seated position on the bed. We had to take turns getting dressed in the tiny floor space or just lay down to dress. I only took one shower the whole stay since the water pressure was poor and the water was freezing. If we hadn't paid $80 per night I would gladly reccomend this hotel to other budget travelers. Instead I suggest staying in a hostel in the center, even if you do have to share a room with others.close

I didn't mind that it was a bit outside of the main city because the shops and stuff right around there were a lot cheaper than in the heart of the city. The only bad part about the location was that we had to buy the more expensive travel card just because the guest house was in a farther zone.close

The beds are uncomfortable: you can feel every spring in it, and the hairdrier in the room is old and dangerous. The location is not that bad, for the price. It's in ilford, in zone 4. There's a train from Liverpool Street Station to ilford that takes 15 minutes. Then you'll still need to walk 5-10 minutes. The staff is nice. The price included English breakfast, but it's served too early (until 8:30 on weekdays, until 9:00 on weekends).close

I suggest never to go there. It took me 2 hours to reach the hotel and they told me: "no more beds avalaible". fortunately they gave me an alternative accomodation. (another hostel...)

The beds are very uncomforable. The hairdrier in the room is very old and quiet unsecure.

But in the second day my room wasn't cleaned!!, and ended up doing the bed myself!! Then the last day they didn't open the kitchen on time and I had to leave without breakfast and have to had some snack at the train station. I am not planning to return there ever!!!close
