what the heck? it wasn't a hostel at all, there was no name on the building. the reception lady didn't speak english, just italian, or a sort of. I didn't get any recipt, no key either. the location was on a arab/russian getto, pretty scary. not recommended at all.

(awfull internet, slow as dial up, old computer, no iron, ironing board, nothing) The place is filthy, unsecure, and in an awful area. The only reason I stayed for 5 days is because I had prepaid and the operator would not refund me my money (could not afford to loose 150 dollars). The only person taking care of the place does not even speak a word of english (just italian) and she smells and is digusting, and has no problem comming into your room unanounced at 3 in the morning, turning on the lights, to ask you something or to bring a new victim..err guest in. It was also real cold because they are so cheap and dont turn on the heat, and limited hot water. Oh, and two bathrooms for 14 people! I am actually going to formely petition hostelworld that they remove this guesthouse from thier lists. close

She showed up a day later and started to throuw my stuff around and her verbal responses consisted of a series of grunts. I am not making this up. I switched to a room with three other people in it and was given back less the proper difference for the room downgrade. One person at the house said it was in the second worse neighborhood in the UK.close

Nice place once I found it! This is a private residence with some rooms converted into dorms so there are no external signs. Some staff members speak no English but this didn't really cause me any problems during my stay, as there were nice people staying who could help out with translating....
