Loch Ness is huge! Thought I could "do" the loch in 1 day but Fort Augustus (stayed @ Morags Lodge) is so much more than that and that's just one corner of the place! I was expecting the area around Loch Ness to be very exploited and full of tourists.     This is some of the most beautiful country in scotland. Located in the highlands there is not much to do exept to hike and explore some of the most beautiful forests you will ever see. If you want some adventure this is the place to go. We were there in the middle of fall and beautiful leaves...

    Cozy place to stay among the trees in a lovely little town. Walk to everything, just up hill a bit on the way home. Hire bath towels. Free internet. Heaps of free parking available.

    The key wouldn't work four times when I tried, but as soon as the employee tried it, it worked. That was annoying. Warning: there was nothing to do in this town.

    Nice place to stay away from everything for a weekend (East Lewiston is a very quiet little village). The bed didn't have the springs out of place, which is always appreciated. The only suggestion is to put a more noticeable logo in the front, because in the darkness of the night you pass by...
