We were very impressed with Pod Lipo. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our suite was very clean and spacious. We were particularly pleased with the kind help that we received from the restaurant staff. We highly recommend Pod Lipo to travelers.

This was the best place we stayed in Slovenia. The rooms were bright, clean and (for the first time) modern and the 2 guys that ran the place were simply amazing. I'd recommend to everyone

Quiet hostel, close to the center (5 min walk). Very good area with bars and cafes around. Definetly, I´ll recomend it!

Nice room above restuarant. We were not able to keep our windows open at night because of the patrons below. Towels were small, but clean. Free internet access was really nice.

A nice twin room with ensuite, free internet and tea/coffee. Manager was really friendly. The younger guy who met us when we arrived was a bit hit or miss though. Centrally located, within short walking distance to thre main attractions. The owner was very friendly and gave us useful tips for our stay there. Would definitely go back there if we visited Ljubljana again.

Perfect place to stay. The owner had excellent English and took great delight in helping us out with all types of things, such as what buses to take, explaining the Easter tradition in Slovenia and even took us down to the Inn downstairs and helped us with the menu! Highly recommend this place :)

Penzion Pod Lipo is a true gem, a lovely old building, newly renovated, clean and comfortable. The owner, Marjan, was completely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Ljubljana.

Location was cool, really easy to find when driving into the city. Quiet but a short walk to the main action. The guy who runs the place was probably one of the nicest hotel proprietors we've ever come across. Nice restaurant downstairs but also use of a shared kitchen for guests which was...

Four of us stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't have had a better spot. Everything is close at hand (Ljubljana is tiny anyway), the restaurant below is great and the owner, Marjan, was fantastic (especially when he let us lie in until well into the afternoon on our final day).
