Perfect hotel to stay for one night, but don't stay here for a week...small rooms and the location is quite close to the airport, but for the city center you'll have to take the metro. And not so clean (e.g. nails on the carpet from other visitors...). Staff is very helpful!

everything was good, except the higher floors you got, the more sewage smell you got in the bathroom. other than that, i would stay again.

A good place to have just one cheap night in Lisboa but not to stay for a week or more. Poor breakfast and bad smell in bathroom. Shower holder was broken. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is good (not too far from airport).

It wasn't a very good hotel, cheap indeed but a poor character! But for just one night you can book it. The airco didn't work, it was more like a ventilator!

Private bathrooms were nice however it was a small shower. The bed was very uncomfortable - didn't sleep much over the 3 nights I was there.

Fantastic breakfast, very helpful staff. Close to a metro line and therefore easy to get to downtown or a bus station. It was a great place to end my trip. Thanks.

The location is great - the metro station next to it will take you right to downtown. The staff is generally nice though a bit stand-offish, and I didn't really meet any other travelers here - it was much more like a hotel than a hostel. Cute room.

While it isn´t walking distance from downtown, it is nestled in a nice neighborhood area with great pasteleria´s for the sweet tooth. I reccomend the Resedencia Luena.close

Comfortable queen-sized bed, private bath, no a/c but the wall mounted rotating fan in the room was just fine. Maid service daily - bed made and room cleaned nicely, which I hardly ever see in a hostel, this is more like a small hotel. And you can't beat the price - I paid only US 22 a night. I extended my stay at Luena 4-nights because I liked it so much! The staff are very helpful...all the guys behind the desk helpful with my every need & question. Only 5-minute walk to Metro (right around the corner) which in less than 10 minutes takes you to the city center and downtown, as well as Oriente. And a bus stop right outside the door! Very nice neighborhood, convienent location to walk too. The continental breakfast consisted of portugese rolls, ham & cheese, toast and jams, coffee, latte, and juices - all delicious and quite satisfying each morning. I recommend staying here during your visit to Lisbon, you can't beat what you get for the price! Oh, and check out Inside Lisbon Tours - small group tours (minimum 3, maximum 8), full-day and for under E50. Info is at the front desk. Obrigado Recidencia Luena!close

Simple, decent, slightly overpriced place to stay. Be aware that upon my arrival they wanted full payment despite the fact that a 10% deposit had been made.

You can actually walk down to the city centre if needed but the metro stop is just a minute away. Bus no 6 which goes to Santa Apolina train station stops right on the door step. There is a tv in the rooms and in the lounge there is another tv with cable. Breakfast is good , it fills you up. Towels are provided, plenty of them. The internet may not work though. When i was there it worked for the one night. The breakfast is also open to outsiders i think so there may be ppl who dont stay there at the breakfast room. It will take a bit of an effort to make friends with other travellers since its not a hostel and you may find families staying there as well for their hols.close

Nice foyer, very professional, cheap internet, and a good simple breakfast. I know its a european thing, but my one critcism is that the staff behind the desk are often smoking, which is not really pleasant for non smokers.

Breakfast was great, with a bread that reminded me the breads we eat in Brasil (it`s 9 months I`m out of my country). Staff eficient, they gave us all the info we needed and were open 24 hours a day. I booked a dorm and could stay with my friend in a double room with private bathroom. The grat thing is: a taxi costs very little in Portugal! If you want to save time, catch a taxi! I recommend Residencia Luena, a simple but nice place and well located.close
