We loved this hostel. Great energy all around. Spacious, charming hostel in a great neighborhood. The staff was young, friendly and relaxed. The hostel is set back a couple blocks from the main street so it is nice and quiet at night.

Lisbon Old Town Hostel is the nicest hostel I've stayed at - in any country. Breakfast was generous and staff were incredibly helpful. Only word of caution is that the walls are extremely thin. If you are immune to noise, this is the hostel for you.

I had a really good time there, 5 minutes walking from the bars by night, good location, quiet as not being directly in the bar streets, I had a perfect time there in August before going to the BOOM Festival!

Stayed upon my return to Lisbon after heading south so am a fan. Highly recommend.close

The free breakfast was a nice touch. Things were very clean and we noticed that they iron the bed sheets. The rooms were very large. In other reviews I read some complaints about there only being one (small) woman's toilet and shower, but there are more bathroom facilities upstairs. It did get rather loud at night, as people would have loud discussions until 5 or 6am. Other than that, this was a good place to stay in Lisbon.close
