Overall its a great hostel sadly it was a little quiet while we were here apart from the first night but guess this is due to the time of year. friendly staff even made us pop corn wen we were watching movies

The size of bathroom facilities is practically unusable. (WC, shower) At least the tap in the shower could be in the corner to save space, and a soap holder would be invaluable!

Great lounge area to watch movies or play board games. EVERYTHING in this place is from ikea lol. Didn't like how you couldn't flush toilet paper down the toilets, but I would stay there again. Beware of the hills! They're steep.

We had a nice room (double bed, shared bathroom) with a window to a patio. breakfast: typical o.k. not-so-very-big portugese hostel breakfast: just toast, no bread; this time cheese yes and ham yes, cannot remember jam. Also the standards like cornflakes with warm milk, as always. a hint: for coffee, use the coffee machine just to boil your water, then combine with standard coffee powder. Also hip hostel standard to clean your own stuff after using it. location: nice view down to the city while having breakfast. but you have to walk a bit (not so very much, but worth mentioning) up the hill to get there. a hint: beer is cheaper at the hostel than in the kiosk down the street. :) another hint: down the street, aonther street begins that leads to the river, and on its way it provides nice (some more, some less) restaurants: the nearer to the hostel, the better! all in all we would recommend this hostel.close

Can't say enough about Chillout Hostel. Definitely the best place to stay in Lisbon. Newly opened, everything is spanking new! Nice rooms, tasteful decoration, excellent service. I highly recommend this hostel - haven't had so much relaxation in a long time and the service was so warm and lovely...

Besides that, it was a lovely and cosy location that enabled to communicate with people not totally hammered in a spacious community room. The balcony is aplus as well. The breakfast room was not well thought through. Three chairs for ten people are not sufficient. Toilet was too small for tall people. Altogether, nice place to stay.close
