Very enjoyable stay, but this was probably because only one other room was occupied. It would get quite noisy with all rooms occupied, because the doors have big gaps and let lots of sound through. The lack of smoke alarms is worrying, and also the glass in the window was loose and cracked.

They also asked us everyday if everything was ok, as they called and asked from Danubio every day. I believe Danubio service is just tclose

the staff was veeery friendly and we didn't have any problems to leave our bags for an entire day - we were given another room to keep it closed after our check-out :) location is also great, about 10 minutes of walking from Rossio and 15 from Tagus River. generally speaking, i would recommend...

Quiet hostel in a nice part of Lisbon. Disadvantage was an opening/crack in door of bedroom reduced privacy.

Second building they put me in was amazing! I was a girl travelling on my own, so I was very worried about safety and location. Center of town, own locks, and very clean!! My friends I met there extended their stay and I was I could have to :)

Since there is no reception, we had some difficulties to get keys for the room. Couple of phone calls and 30 mins of waiting.

Hosts were very nice and welcoming! Just hanger in the room was missing! And a gaz or electric stove in the kitchen. But apart of that, it is a good cheap address!

The doors to our room did no meet when closed, so we could see and hear everything in the hallway. A door seperating the kitchen would be nice so the tv noise does not filter through to the rooms. Also a bug zapper outside would get rid of those flying bugs that were always there. Other than...

Hostel was in a good location and at a very reasonable price, however the sheets they provided were definitely subpar even for a cheap hostel. Other than that, the staff could have been a little more clear as to how to contact them upon arrival.

Danubio is quite a small hostel, so there wasn't much mingling with staff or other guests. The location was good but be aware that there is no sign for the hostel outside.

Pretty simple places, not the greatest. Only thing really wrong was the atmosphere, nobody to talk to and the staff were hardly there at all.

no heat so in cool weather bring warm clotes especially since you have to walk outside for shower which is inclosed. Some people had trouble using the keys to get in which was noisy at times but every good traveller knows nothing beats a good pair of ear plugs. i would return.

cosy because only a few rooms, use of kitchen with all the equipment needed, located downtown, near the metro station, and a nice garden for breakfast, so we were very satisfied! For fun we go to another place downtown!
