We couldn’t ask more from Pensao Royal! Nice hostel, lovely staff, good rooms and bathroom with real very hot water, wonderful breakfast and great....really great location. I would definitely recommend it and come back again. Oct 2008 - Anto and Max

We loved this hostel and the staff. Location is perfect - close to everything as well as the airport bus.The breakfast is THE BEST!As well as free internet.Would def stay here again :)

Great Place. I stayed here twice. The first time in a twin room for 4 night then returning for 2 nights in a triple room. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They were very helpful w/ my lost luggage problem. Location is great. Near metro and many of the main areas. Breakfast was also included...

Com certeza eu e minha namorada retornariamos a esse hostel. Ótima localizacao, limpo, café da manha completo e staff extremamente atencioso e prestativo. O único problema sao as paredes finas demais. Ouve-se quase tudo que se passa no quarto ao lado.

Excellent hostel! Great location and very nice, bright spacious room! The breakfast was very impressive! There is a nice tv room with fridge, free internet (1 PC) etc. Sandra was an excellent staff member! Very friendly and always service with a smile...Thanks!!

Really nice place to stay, the rooms are not so pretty but quirky in their own sense and very comfortable. Common room is brand new, free internet, play station, flat screen TV, cable, and really lovely staff. GREAT breakfast included!!

Lovely place to stay, wery well located in the center of lisboa in a traditional portuguese building. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Sandra and Yennifer are very kind and helpful. I definitively recommend it!

No complaints, the hostel does not actually have Air conditioning(despite claiming to on the website). Staff were very helpful and let us check out late and keep our bags there past checkout. I recommend this place to anyone willing to experiene the true atmosphere of Lisbon. The place is kept perfectly clean, the staff is nice, and the owner is keen on giving advice on daytrips and places of interest:) It was great!!!!!

What wonderful staff, friendly and very helpful. From the moment I arrived I felt at home! The location was also excellent, very close to the metro and tram 28. This helped to make it easy to navigate ourselves to the nearest hot spots.

Very nice and very helpful staff, the host is very funny, and provided many comment on how best to travel around, also teach you how to avoid tourist trap. Quiet and close to the down town, if you like a quiet place to settle in Lisbon, this is your choice.

You are in the Baixa, which is good for shpping, and you are only 10 minutes away from the Bairro Alto and the Chiado for all the nightlife, 5 minutes away from the train station to Sintra and bus to the airport and not far from the Alfama! Excellent Hostel. Perhaps the best place in Lisbon, in the center of everything. The staff is really nice and allways try to help you. Our room was nice, clean and with a little bathroom inside. A good breakfast is also available. If we go back to Lisbon we will come to Pensao Royal again.
