This place is the business. I booked 2 nights & 5 nights later i'm still here. Its not really a party place but if your after an awesome view, brilliant staff and a mellow atmosphere its well worth the visit. Loved it & will definately stay here when i come back to Switzerland.

Wonderful place. Great staff. Would go back in a heartbeat. Not to be missed. (If you are travelling on Interrail or Eurail the train to Lauterbrunnen you need to buy a ticket as it is not included). And town shuts down completely on a Sunday!

The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful - Sabine & Stefan helped me plan a perfect day of mountain biking & were very understanding when I was forced to shorten my stay by a night. An ideal base for exploration, but very difficult to meet anyone, as the place is wildly popular among South Korean travellers (flags on the wall!) and English was very scarce during my stay.close

A very well-run, clean hostel with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. In a very beautiful location. I had a loft bed and woke every morning to views of a big waterfall and snow capped mountains- it was great!

The staff was not helpful (felt like I was bothering them). Their laptop can access the web but doesn't have the memory to sustain most email sites. Common area is the dining room, no T.V. On the positive side, near to the train station, room was large/clean with lovely balcony.

Alfred and Martha, the owners/managers, are the nicest couple ever! They made us feel welcome and at home! This is a wonderful place to stay in the beautiful Swiss Alps. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

We received a very warm welcome from Marta, the resident warden. It was pleasent to relax in the garden following a hard days walking. The hostel was very clean with good washing facilities. We didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to be well equipped.

The hostel is located right in the middle of mountains. On a clear day you can see Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau tops. In terms of cleaniness and staff this is the best hostel I have ever visited. Thanks to Alfred and Martha for the making the stay a permanent imprint in memory.

We had a gorgeous room with a balcony, and an overhand that sheilded us from the afternoon rain storms. Everything was clean, including the shared bathroom. We didn't see a whole lot of the staff, but when we did, they were very nice & helpful. We would definitely recommend this place!...

Very close to the station. Clean too. No private lockers though. It was interesting that they put all the Asians in the same room...which I thought was good. :)

There are many Koreans staying in this hostel so it's decorated in an asian style. Everyone was doing outdoor activities so the common room emptied out pretty early in the evening
