Description of Liberace Museum
Liberace founded the non-profit Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts in 1976, and he considered it as one of his greatest achievements. It funded scholarships and grants for schools and colleges across the nation. In 1979 Liberace opened The Liberace Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada to help raise funds for his foundation. He loved to dazzle and thrill his audiences with glittering costumes and jewels, music and humour. This Las Vegas attraction houses his collections of rare and antique pianos, classic cars and famous sequined, bejewelled costumes, as well as his private papers and memorabilia.
