Everything you see on TV and more. It is lights galore, there is a very casual feel about the city. Great to visit but don't think I would return. Hotels are like little cities and the service in general is really good.

Done vegas with a group of lads, had a ball. we stayed in the Westwood ho on the strip. It's a bit of a dive and we got thrown out after one day for partying to loud at 6 am ( fair enough). it was the best thing to happen. we crossed to the sahara much nicer. It doesnt really matter where you stay in Vegas as you can go into any of the hotels and drink and gamble( they actually encourage it) . Had about 400 dollars a day, 200 to gamble 200 to party which is not a lot. But 3rd night won 2000 dollars on roulette and poker machines which made the trip very enjoyable. lost it all again over the week but hey didnt plan on coming home with anything and loved every second

Las Vegas is a place you hear so much about but you have got to experience it to believe it. The first thing that hit me was the heat. 50 degrees Celsius on the day we arrived. Like a furnace. The city itself is mental. All lights and all action. Make sure to take in one of the many shows and visit some of the bigger casinos like Circus Circus and the MGM. Also took a ride on the huge roller coaster. Stayed 3 days there - 3 days is enough.

Las Vegas is a great place to be for two days, a person does not need longer. Also, it is relatively inexpensive for the necessities (accomodation, food, transport) and there are so many free things to do. However, the shopping is ridiculously expensive and so is drinking and going to a club.

It was my first time in Vegas. I was here on a Thursday night and the streets seemed pretty quiet. I wish it had been a little warmer because with all the wind blowing down the strip, it was a little chilly. I will most deffinitely come back again though!

The Grand Canyon Tours are awesome...especially the flights. You can party 24/7 and it's quite cheap.

The only 1 thing that really suz about the city is the hot hot weather. Other than that, it was a really good 1st time experience of what money can do in Sin City

The shower was mostly cold. The mattresses were coated in rubber, making the beds hot and uncomfortable. The location is ok, but the hostel is located in the netherworld between the main strip and downtown. Its surrounded by cheap wedding chappels, strip joints and XXX stores. If you are travelling with anyone, better to stay off strip and split a hotel room.

The hostel is not really located in a secure area: on my way from the Fremont Experience to the hostel I once saw 4 policecars on patrol and 2 arrests - an interesting experience!

It is very expensive to buy food unless you know where to go. Get tips from the locals.

Not a place to chill, too much to go out and see. You have to be up for spending money, having a great time and trying gambling! Much better than I had anticipated!

I think las vegas is a really nice city if your above 21. Because the only think you can do in LAs Vegas is cambeling, drinking and partying. And because im not 21 there was really nothing to do for me.

There really is nowhere else on earth like Vegas. Most people refer to it as Disneyworld for adults! Make sure to have lots of money on you

I dunno, maybe it was me but I just didn't really get Vegas. I don't gamble (I put $1 in a machine pressed the wrong button and got a voucher for $1 - so I won !! lol) I mean it has to be seen, it is an amazing sight and there's is something about light bulbs at night and it was very clean But maybe I just missed something

Driving into Las Vegas from the desert is one of the strangest experiences ever! It was nightime and we had just spent 4 hours on the road looking at nothing much more than desert and the odd cactus plant and suddenly there it is! Bright lights, big city. Literally! Las Vegas truely is a wonder, and it really never does sleep, your sense of time gets really warped here, it could be 12 o'clock at night or 3 in the afternoon when you are inside. The people are loud, the casinos are loud..but there loads of things to do and see that dont involve gambling, its safe and most of all, FUN

I absolutely loved this place , although I wouldn't spend more than a few days here or I would end up penniless. There is loads to see with all the casinos there and the bright lights of the city. Every one already knows a few stories about vegas before they even go and generally they are all true. The water shows outside the Bellagio are definitely worth seeing while you are there and if you are looking for a day out of the city, go and visit the hoover dam and the grand canyon. This is definitely somewhere I am going back to.
