    With Ibis, you know what you get. But I was very happy with my choice of hotel here. had tried to book the Vielle Ville hotel initially but it was full. But have to say, the Vieux Port was cheaper and no issues with this. Breakfast very good value.

  2. Fasthotel La Rochelle 69%      

    This hotel isnt in the best location but there is a good bus service that can get you into town in 10mins. Beach and restaurants are close by. Excellent breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms are small and the bathrooms tiny but overall good value for money.

    Definitely a nice, cheap hotel rather than a hostel. Good atmosphere, great staff, nice room. The Wifi was a big plus.
