We had a room with a small patio. Lovely place just back from the beach with communal kitchen. Staff are really lovely and helpful.

We loved staying here - the chick on the desk was LOVELY and really helpful. Room was great and it's pretty much on the beach too! (and on the same lane as Oasis beach bar), Definately recommend it.

Wouldn't stay there again!!! Insects everywhere and ants living inside the walls. There are better hotells nearby. This one was not worth the money.

The hostel actually quite good in overall, but the only problem is that they did not supply drinking water (warm/cold) to the guests. so, i hope they will improve on it. thanks!

When I arrived in my room I found two newts on the wall, the toilet was not flushed and the water boiler was not working. I ended up taking a shower with cold water. The main office of the hostel was hardly ever open, so it was hard getting hold of the owners if and when you needed them. I will...

we didn,t stay here as the place was closed when we arrived.when someone finally showed up we were shown to rooms which were letting in rain,nothing else was available,therefore we had to find alternative accomodation

Basic but great for the beach. Oasis Beach Bar right next door, oh and the sea! The main bit of the main streer is a 5-10 minute walk though.

Very nice hostel with very friendly staff. The location is unbeatable when u can just reach the beach by a few steps. The hostel is also very nice-decorated, and as I know it's goign to have a new public area, I guess it could be even more fun. The room is also tidy with no insects at all. I will...

A really awful place. Mould in the celing and far to the beach. The owner was late to our check-in... Cant recommend this place actually. The place next doors, Sunset beach resort is Amazing! Recommends that!!

The place was fine and for the price you might struggle to find much better in Chenang. It was very close to the beach which was another bonus. It was basic accomodation as expected and did have a funny smell but to our surprise had a TV and a fridge so no complaints really.

Very close to the beach, but you have to walk thru the restaurant, pretty much a motel by the beach, not much night life. I recommend it if you want a rest and relax on the sand.

The kitchen was a little dirty. Middle eastern guests were making a lot of noise passed 10pm till 12 midnight just outside our rooms!

We would rate this place highly and would love to go there again. The small sit out area with each room was a joy. Couple of people in the adjoining rooms used to sit and smoke outside their room in their sit out and us being non-smokers, we could not enjoy this space as much but it was nice touch. It was really great being able to be so close to the beach. There has been a recent change in the management of this property but that does not seem to have had any negative impact. Would love to go there again.close

A litte overpiced place. A double room = RM 70,- ,but is was not real clean and small. The location was not so good, a not so nice part of KL. There are better and cheaper options in KL.

We filled out that we would be arriving late but didn't get told that our key would just be attached to the window when we arrived, would've been good to know as was worrying when everything was in darkness

Not great but not bad either. Positive apsects: clean room, daily change of sheets&towels, common kitchen facility, A/C and fan in the rooms. Negative: location, regular absence of reception host, outdated room amenities.

A nice clean place, though no direct access to the beach. Nevertheless one should try to get one of the rooms with a terrace, as it is much nicer if you can sit outside. A big plus is the shared kitchen-everyone can store food and prepare meals.Good value for your money!

Property was in a transitional period while we stayed there.Got no help from anyone let alone could not find anyone and even had to go next door to book a tour or ferry.Was close to the beach which was average.

Really nice place for quite a reasonable price. The rooms are cleaned everyday and towles are provided. It's about less than 1 minute to the beach which is golden sands and clear waters.

Recommended if you are after budget. However the beach is only accessible through nearby Oasis Bar's main gate, which is closed in the morning until 11am. Warning: Sea water sharply stings.

We laughed with Henry about it but honestly they should get onto it! We would still recommend it to friends, the Fawlty Towers of Cenang Beach!close

Quite comfy rooms and clean bathroom. Small, only about 10 rooms which made the atmosphere with fellow travellers really nice. No safety box even though promised. Staff OK but not too enthusiastic to serve and help. One, serving at night time, didn't speak English.

I arrived late at night with a taxi. The hotel does not have any sign so I was lucky that the taxi driver knew the place. The room I stayed in was brand new and thus you could still smell the paint and construction works. AC, bed, bathroom, all brand new.
