Gorgeous Irish village and fantastic in the summer when the weather is good! Surfing, walking, eating! Whatever takes your fancy this is the place. Definitely worth the trip. |

The place is pretty cool unfortunately alot was under construction at the time we all were there. The beach is great and usually has good surf. Too bad the time we were there it was all on shore winds. Nice place to relax. |

We were extremely lucky with the weather. but I felt sorry for the surfers - there wasn't a ripple! They'd have had more fun with lilo's. The hostel was great value, but thed local supermarket was a complete rip off. As the weather was so good the town was extremely busy, so restaurants were too packed and the service was pretty bad, but i'm sure it would be better if the place was quiet. (Also the supermarket ran out of lots of basic foods, but the town was manic)The scenery in the area couldn't even be described as amazing, it's beyond words really. The craic was great and plenty of trad sessions kept the place buzzing. |
