Opened in April 2008, Eco & Tec Kyoto is a CLEAN and SAFE hotel located in a quiet location just 3 minutes walk from Higashiyama Station. FREE internet access in all rooms. The front door is an automatically lockable door and guest room doors require entry of security code. In the lobby, help yourself with FREE coffee and tea. Surrounded with temples and shrines it is an ideal base for sight-seeing and for business purposes. All guestrooms ensuite with free internet access, TV, fridge and a hair drier. Room amenities include towels, light cotton kimono, soap and a shampoo. You can rent DVD player, iron, electric pot and a trouser press for free. We also offer toothbrush and toothpaste, razor, soap, cotton, comb and a sponge at the front desk. There is a parking lot available at 1050 yen per day. Check-in: 3PM Check-out: 11AM Credit cards such as VISA, Mastercard and DC Card are accepted. Regarding housekeeping, we change the bed sheet every 3 nights. For parking lot, please inquire in advance. Only 5 spaces. (1050yen per car per night) Access: Only a 3-minute-walk from Higashiyama Station on Tozai Line. From Kyoto Station, get on the Karasuma line and change to Tozai Line at Oike Station.

Very clean and modern hotel. Staff were friendly and extremely accomodating despite lack of English. Rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished.

Very new hotel, beautifuly decor modern but still distinctly Japaneese. A little difficult to find at first but worth perservering.Great massage gagets and free tea and coffee in the reception but as yet no internet. Near metro and one of main shopping/dining areas of Kyoto are within a walkable...
