Stella Travellers Inn is the premier hostel in Kusadasi, Turkey. It is under new management for the 2004 season and the services provided by our international team are second to none. We are all hostel professionals and take great pride in making your stay with us as memorable as possible. The hostel, until 3 years ago, was operating as a 2* Hotel. Apart from some refurbishment, the changes made all involve 'The Fun Factor' and I'm sure you'll agree, we've hit the nail right on the head. The pool and sundeck has a bar that operates everyday as well as hosting the nightly BBQ. Priced, of course, with the backpacker in mind. All rooms are ensuite with excellent facilities and amazing views. Each room, whether it be a double, twin, triple or a 6 bed dorm has it's own seaward balcony which overlooks the pool area, the harbour and the beautiful Aegean. We are right in the town centre, about 300 metres from the famous 'Bar Street', 100 metres from the harbour, 5 minutes walk from beautiful Ladies Beach and 2 minutes from Pigeon Island. Kuþadasi is perfectly situated to do some local explorýng of ancient and wonderful sites. Ephesus and Holy Mary's House is a mere 20 minutes up the road to the north and Priene, Miletus and Didyma to the south. There's awesome beaches all around and the beautiful Dilek National Park at Güzelçamli only 25 minutes away. Why not jump on a ferry and have a look at the famous Greek Island of Samos? It takes an hour and a half to get to and also leads to the rest of the amazing Greek Islands. Other activities available include daily boat cruises, excellent diving, snorkeling, water skiing, trekking tours, paragliding, jeep safaris, horse safaris, open air markets, outdoor activites and the three leading aqua parks in Turkey, which are the biggest ones in Europe! Free pick up service from the Harbour and Bus stations - Please catch a taxi to the hostel and Lucky will pay your taxi fare.

Good value for money although the BBQ dinner was average for the price. Nice location with a great view of the ocean. No hot water in the morning but the weather was still warm enough to go without. Private room with ensuite we booked was massive.

Overall a great place to stay.close

Staff were very friendly. Close to port and is a pickup point for Fez bus (bus between cities in Turkey), but it's a 15min walk up steep stairs to the hostel. No airconditioning in dorm which is really a 20 bed dorm than the 6 bed dorm stated. Dorm rooms are another 6 floors upstairs. Beds were all unmade, toilets covered in sand and dustbins unemptied. I think I acquired a rash there too. Furthermore, hostelier disorganised, charged us extra for our stay and refused to acknowledge the 10% we already paid to hostelworld and the rates quoted on hostelworld were said to be a mistake and charged us extra. There is however a pool.close

Be careful with the travel information you recieve. If you buy a ferry ticket from the hostel you need to get a boarding pass from the travel agency before boarding the ferry.

the room beautifull and overlooking the harbour. there was no swimming pool - the water was green and horrible. we did a "free" tour to efeses, but had to stop at a carpet shop for "a look" and was sort of pushed into buying a killum.

The family who owns the hostel were very welcoming and extremely friendly. A great place to stay if you want to enjoy Kusadasi.

You'd better add an hi-fi stereo to play cd in common room. The swimming pool is great and if you had a kitchen to use you would be a real cool hostel.
