Unfortunately, the room (3 bed private) we stayed in was substandard. Problem is not of everyday routine maintenance but of worn out furniture, wallpapers and dirty and worn out carpets. It was simply unpleasant. Same concerns the carpet in upper hall. The time clearly has arrived the hostel should receive interior reconditioning.close

Great place to stay. The shared bathroom situation was fine. Private showers are a plus. The staff was helpful and kind. I was able to leave my luggage before check-in time. I can easily recommend this place to stay.

The building is old and filthy, though at least the sheets are clean. The three person room was tiny and cramped, and you pay for everything extra from the TV to the towels. The inn is very close to the station, but since there isn't much to do in Kurashiki anyway, you're better off staying in...

Location is good, because it is near the station but is quite difficult to find it: there aren't enough helpful indications

Right next to the station and within walking distance to the surrounding tourist attractions. A few hours in Kurashiki is all you need but if your here for a night this Inn is fine. Typical Japanese business hostel cheap and good for a night.
