I was very pleased with this hostel. Jane the manager is very nice and helpful, she also speaks very good english. The bar is alot of fun weather drinking or eating... though the drinks are too expensive I couldn't really afford it. But other than that I highly recomend this hostel.

The staff has been a great help with booking our bustickets. Relaxing area, good thing is free internet, but they could use some more computers. They also have nice dvd's.

They only had 3 computers for a large hostel, and 2 didn't work well.

The staff were very patient and helpful. Lockers in rooms were good.Had a few concerns over cleanliness after the first thing we saw was a rat on the wall. The staff just laughed.

Good, sociable hostel (thanks to its expansive common areas and courtyard design) with very good and cheap food available from its restaurant/bar. Expect to pay a fair premium for excursions organised by the hostel, however.

Cozy common room with lots of DVD for free watching. Free internet. A mixture of Chinese & Western backpackers. 5 mins walk to Walmart supermarket. A small garden right next to the hostel. There're wooden suntan chair on the roof top. comfortable bed. I enjoy my stay here.

Fantastic place! Very sociable - three common areas and two tvs with loads of DVDs. Comfortable beds and very clean facilities. Food is not the greatest at the hostel although you can get it anytime of the day. Cheap beer.

Good hostel, perfect location. Part of the staff speaks English. Rooms are good. They do their best to keep the shared toilets and showers clean, but with so many guest that's a hard job.

Great value for the price! Clean rooms and toilets. Big and comfortable beds. Not that far from the main spots in the city but not convenient to the bus or train stations cause taxi is always difficult to get.

I'd recommend it, the dorms are large and clean. Bathrooms have at least hot water. If coming from the train station for the first time, make sure you head round the first corner of buses for the 64. Otherwise taxi is 15rmb. The breakfast is pretty good too.

Close and cosy bar/social areas make it easy for socialising. Excellent hostel. Staff helpful and entirely functional when asked directly, but certainly not 'friendly'.
