The rooms have no windows only extractors onto the corridor so smoke is distributed into all the rooms. We were even woken at night by such a strong smell of smoke coming in from the corridor. This practice is not only very unpleasant, but also a fire hazard.close

Wheelers is located in Chinatown. We loved the nightlife and the markets close by. It is also very close to the monorail which you can take directly to Petronas Towers. They offer laundry service (although a bit pricey) and are always willing to answer questions when they can. No wireless which... more Wheelers is located in Chinatown. Do not book a HAN travel tour with this hostel, its just a massive scam. Very dirty hostel, bathrooms are a mess and the rooms are like prison cells. However, the roof bar, is very good fun and cheap beer.

I feel sorry for the poor turtle that is in the fish tank all day, every day with no access to some land to sit on. Good location though and decent otherwise

No window, no sheets, no air-con, but definitely a decent place for the price. we weren't looking for luxury and this place was clean and not bad.

You have to buy breakfast but it's really good and at $4-12, eggs, toast, meusli, and yogurt they are a good deal. Sketchy entrance and a bit hard to find at night but good location and cool on the inside. Double room was great to share but showers are only cold. cheap but perfectly adequate for a few nights in Kuala Lumpur. Location and roof top bar are big pluses although the roof top bar should open earlier - watch what you do whilst you're up there though...you can be seen from the KL Tower!

Very nice place once you get past the scummy entrance. Reception located on level 1 not 2 as the sign says. Would stay again. Were given free dinner on the roof top terrace the night we arrived.

Their socalled aircondition is a fan, which is removing air from the hall on second floor and into the room. And i can asure you that i rather breathe my own used air than the rotten and wet smell from the hall. Secound of all the toilets havent been cleaned in ages. When its raining, the mouses came In, and ran over the floor several times. I DO NOT RECOMAND this place to any other backpacker.close

The staff were incredibly friendly and lively, going out of their way to suit everyone's needs...even buying a birthday cake for a guest!! Cute little rooftop bar, clean hot showers, great location - couldn't ask for more really!
