Owner was very friendly (jerry. Accomodation was basic but all you needed. Location was perfect for us (right by central market and chinatown - great shopping!) Very helpful staff there. Enjoyed our stay.

I love this place, especially the top floor. Very cosy, staff are friendly and helpful. Great location, close to LRT station and KL Central. Would definately recomended this place.

i game to westover last year and it was great them. Now after i come back all i can say the place is better then ever with its new look and great.All the rooms are bright and very clean the hall was nice new and also very bright and the new staff jerry is so nice... more i game to westover last year and it was great them. location unclear, dirty room with only bed and chair,full of insects, dirty towels, no soap, all mentioned facilities not correct.we slept with our own clothes. PLEASE RETURN BACK MY MONEY & BE SURE OF hotel DETAILS ON YR SITE. THANKS FOR REPLY AND ACTION

very good place to stay and very friendly staff. however, the beds need to be clenaed properly as there were ladies hair all over the bedsheet, thats the only thing i felt over there was a bit wrong otherthan that it was good to stay cheap and comfort

Bad experience at this substandard hostel. Old low efficient air-conditioner was turned on at 9.00 pm. It was too hot to sleep. Not recommend for anyone to become new victim.

Just the aircon... it is not in the rooms, but located on the hallway, and you have a small fan built into the wall of your room, to suck the cold air into the room. Most of the rooms do not have windows so they are, therefore, a little small / boxy. They do, also, get very hot!!

the internet should be free but otherwise all good, especially the lounge, was brilliant to have a place to relax under a fan after the bustling heat of KL!

Very good location, close to subway and hop on hop off bus stop, walkable to the coach terminal. However, it took me quite a while to find it at the first time. Staff are very helpful and they are surely handymen. When I was there, one of the toilet needs to be repaired, but the room is clean and...

Brilliant stay! Superfriendly staff, nice and quiet rooms and most of all - the best location in town. We also spent a lot of time just chilling and watching movies in their comfy living room during monsoon rains. Really nice stay, would love to stay here again!

A fanstatic place to stay in an ideal location. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely and clean. The DVD room is good as is free tea/coffee. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are good value. I would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a great stay in this fab little hostel. A brilliant location...great staff (thank you Tobias!) and the best night's sleep we've had in ages (very very comfy beds!!:O).

I heard so much about Malaysia, and read so many beautiful reviews about it, and I finally brought myself to Malaysia last week and I loved it. To top it all of, my stay in Westover Lodge was the best experience I had while I was in KL. The owner and the staff members were SUPER FRIENDLY! It wasn't just a hostel for me to rest, it was a whole unforgettable experience on its own. I have been to countless hostels around the world, never have I come across one that is so clean, and comfortable. And it was very cheap as well. The location was brilliant, highly accessible to many tourist attractions in the city. It changed my entire perception towards the whole idea of hostel living. A friend of mine recommended this hostel, he was in KL a month before I got there, and I didn't believe him when he told me that he had a wonderful stay in Westover, knowing that he's quite a cynic. But I have to agree with him. I'm glad he introduced me to Westover Lodge. If I could give them a 6 star rating, I would. Hopefully this review of mine will help you if you're looking for a nice and comfortable yet affordable stay in Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy.close
