there are big bed bugs there.. I got a few bites and took simple 2 weeks to stop itching.. i will never return again.. and the price shown on hostel world is 20% more expensive. i pay 67 for the room and 11 for cream for bed bugs per day.. terrible experience

If you can get past the blood stained sheets, faulty toilets and sketchy location, this place may be fine were it not for the rude, unhelpful, nasty woman who seems to run the place. Decent place... Definitely a bit of a walk from the bus station. They had movies to watch though and the internet was free (although we had to reset the router every couple of hours). Malls nearby and easy walking distance to the main sights. Not sure if we'd stay here again though..

The room was pretty old and worn. The shower was leakin and the room was not cozy and strange lighting. But! Clean and nice staff and the location was awesome

good hostel however they own another hostel called Green Hut about 5mins down the road and its far better. it has a much better hang out area with pool table and is in a far better location. however trekker lodge is much the same deal with the rooms and bathrooms which are all clean. could do...

A friendly hostel but very poor cleanliness. The sheets were covered in stains and our toilet leaked onto the open plan bathroom floor. Good rate but take your own linen and slippers for the no shoes rule!

Pretty good as hostels go. Some of the double rooms are on the first level though, could get a bit noisy being just off the kitchen. I originally received one but was happy when they let me swap it for a quiter room upstairs.

I really enjoy my stay at TrekkerLodge.I meet some really lovely people there.The hostel are very clean,had a very nice homely feel to it !!! i will definately be back when i pass trough Kl,on my way home.Highly recommend !!!

The room where we stayed had bed bugs and we heard of a similar complaint.On our final night there was one cockroach(no big deal)but recieved no assistance when asked for spray or something to remove it with.The only reply we recieved was ughh.Otherwise quite a good hostel.

A great location on the edge of the Golden Triangle with lots of shopping/ eating possibilities in the vacinity. Staff helpful and the four-bed dorm where I stayed was a good size- with a window! Free internet a bonus

one of the most expensive rooms on my 6 month travel around Asia. The single rooms are really not worth the money, especially the room on the first floor near the reception: very noisy, very small, without window. Staff is friendly and location is good.

Trekker Lodge is located in the dodgiest possible corner of an otherwise hip and happening part of KL. I felt a little expensive but location is so good. We could walk to monorail station in 5 minutes and to KL tower in 15 minuites!

Staff very helpful and happy to do anything. KL quite spread out but this was a good location for most things. Not sure if sheets that clean - perhaps they just need a new washing machine.

A very pleasant place to stay, in fact our 1 night has turned into 5!!! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room quite small and basic but appears clean enough, good value for money. Also within a nice district of KL and within easy walking distance of many attractions.

Very good hostel. Helpful staff available 24/7 to give good travel tips and good advice. Nice clean rooms with hot showers and great air con. Great security and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
