I just got what I paid for. There is no really need to spend hundreds of RM for a overnight stay or getaway in KL. The staff are nice and accommodating. Likewise, the rooms are clean. Maybe, just the ambience at the entrance is not inviting. I almost hesitated to enter when I saw it and maybe affected my expectations of the room. Overall, it's recommendable for backpackers. =)close

nothing special, but really good for that city. Close to everything, the bar next door is all right!

It is quite intimidating if you are a female here, there are about 10 men who work here and they linger in the reception and either stare at you or pester you. Our room was the size of a cupboard and the bunk beds were half broken.

My room had no window, full of smell. The toilet was a bit dirty and everything was just basic! Well, staff was good and helpful though.

Although we had to wait for half an hour to check in, it is partly because we arrived at the hotel before the original before 12 am. The rooms are nice and clean. suggested that you go for the double room with private bathroom, since the single room with shared bathroom is about the size of a holding cell with no windows. Overall, it is a recommended place to stay in KL.close

The hostel was very clean and secure, but the character is very different than other backpackers hostels (this is more a hotel rather than a hostel). Also, the other guests were 95% from Asia. The room was clean but small (a kind of box room) without window. Will recommend it if you want only to...

We didn't see any backpackers in the four days we stayed; all other guests were Asian. The rooms were box like and windowless but the place was very clean and good location.

The location was good, close to Putra line, but there was no elevator, in the room we found ants and mosquitos, only cold shower was available,no toilet paper is provided, the TV was unusuable due to antena problems.I would not recommend it if you travel with kids, otherwise for backpackers might...

there are no hostel beds anymore at this place as we found to our dismay when we got there. The double rooms are ok but not too secure as the ceiling is made of wooden see through slates, The staff are really friendly though and helped with everything we needed

The place has several single and double rooms for reasonable "backpacking" prices, all rooms are "open top" under the actual roof of the house (not open air). All in all its a great place to stay in Singapore.close

The rooms are clean and open on top. The staff tried to make my stay comfortable. For meeting other travellers it's certainly not the place: I didn't meet any other guest and I think the staff and friends parly stays in the rooms theirselves. Kind of weird atmosphere...
