Pr' Tatko Hostel' is Kranjska Gora's friendliest hostel! It is a beautiful 100 year old building with a warm atmosphere and fun modern vibes. It is located in the picturesque Podkoren village on the border of Triglav national park. This heritage building has large rooms with high ceilings, filled with warmth and hospitality. Located in the heart of a traditional Slovenian alpine village, the 19th century architecture, hand painted walls and classic furniture are perfect to come home to after a long day of tours and activities in the Julian Alps. I loved the place!!!It is quiet and a perfect getaway with wonderfully nice people!!!And what a mountains and nature!!It is defenitely worth staying, because it gives you a taste of real SLOVENIA!!!

lovely location....very helpful staff. only 15 min from kransjka gora. other skiing and snowboarding 5 min from podkoren where hostel is located. definately will return. :)

love the place... martina and ziga made my trip, loved every minute... any thing martina can do to help she'll do her best to sort out.. this was my first time in a hosteland i could'nt wish for a better pace...GREAT

this place is amazing!!!!! it is only 3k´s to krankje gora has a great pub right near the hostel with really good and cheap food. the host is just lovely and goes far above and beyond her call of duty. she will get you involved and loving the slovenian lifestyle. the rooms are fantastic and we... more this place is amazing!!!!! it is only 3k´s to krankje gora has a great pub right near the hostel with really good and cheap food. the host is just lovely and goes far above and beyond her call of duty. she will get you involved and loving the slovenian lifestyle. the rooms are fantastic and we both had one of the best sleeps in a very long time. if you really want to see slovenia then you just have to stay at this place, cant rave about enough. seriously!!!!!!close

I highly recommend this hostel. The people are fantastic, the facilities brilliant & views second to none. Martina is a wonderful hostess & couldn't do enough for us. We've made good friends & had a wonderful holiday - so many thanks to Pri Tatku! genevieve xox

Friendly and helpful staff makes us feel at home. Facility is good especially you got most you need to cook a pleasant dinner and free internet surfing. The best staff I would say.
