Pros: The staff were reasonable friendly and helpful whenever I needed their help, so no complaints in this area. Also, the place is quite cheap, and, keep in mind that public transport in Krakow is too. I wasn't able to meet any of the other guests during my stay, so the place may or may not be fun to stay in, but somehow I'm skeptical.. So the bottom line is: if you're looking for bargain-basement prices on a hostel, and don't mind sleeping in a cement-walled prison-room for a few nights and taking the tram into town each morning, then this hostel does offer good value for money.close

They even carried my heavy bag up four floors for me and later gave me a nice single room on the first floor so I didn't have to go up and down the stairs. Nothing was too much trouble. They booked trips, sold bus tickets, stored bags, provided a cheap nice breakfast and FREE internet. the area is a twenty minute walk from the main square but is interesting because it is very near the Jewish ghetto from WW11. I would reccomend it for families. Its not beautiful (soviet realism) but clean and well run. Great value for the price.close
