Good place and good enviroment. Closs to both the old town and the train station. The staffs were so kind-hearted and helped us quite a lot. The hostel is not luxious but really comfortable, and very good for price.

Very bad experience. They changed us to a different guest house after accepting our reservation, which we found out only on arrival as they did not contact us by phone/sms but by email only. The new room was not nice at all and did not have ensuite bathroom like we paid for! They refused to... more Very bad experience. They changed us to a different guest house after accepting our reservation, which we found out only on arrival as they did not contact us by phone/sms but by email only. The new room was not nice at all and did not have ensuite bathroom like we paid for! They refused to change us to an ensuite room which we saw and they later recognized was available. We arranged to arrive at 11am but had to wait until 2pm for the room and to make it even worse in the next day we were "asked" to leave the room even before 10am which is the checkout time, our room was invaded while we finished dressing and breakfast to prepare it with lots of chairs for a meeting that had been arranged there for some company. Nothing but "I'm sorry"s has been done to compensate us. That's what you get in this place!close

Our apartment was in one of the main squares right next to the old town. We had our own balcony overlooking the Grunwald statue. Breakfast was included and the price was unbeatable. We would definitely stay in these apartments again.

Our room was the size of a closet and it was a bit of a distance from the center, but in a nice neighborhood and a beautiful view. i would stay here again.

The location of this hostel was perfect, close to the main square and trains/buses. However, my room had no window and there was no safety deposit box. Good for a cheap and chearful weekend away, but a bit basic.

The hostel is in an old and very smelly building. Although requesting a private bathroom, we were given a room with a bathroom on the outside. The staff were very friendly and the price and location were unbeatable. Soundproofing between rooms is virtually non-existent. Great location, friendly staff, secure. Breakfast basic but adequate, noisy in the mornings, water temp from showers dodgy. There's a lot more I want to say on this place but I'm restricted to 500 characters, not enough!

We were unable to sleep as somebody was calling the hostell all night and people constantly were entering and leaving it. Don't recommend

We had trouble finding it, but that could've been due to simple miscommunication. Breakfast was good and the showers were nice and hot. Walls a bit thin, could hear people in other rooms.

the roms didnt really look like the photos and the double bed we had was actually a pull out sofa thing and we kept falling down the gap! but other than that, it was fine esp for the price. def lots of character, v old building and perfect location right by the old town walls. i'd stay again.

The staff were very helpful, very welcoming and accommodating The hostel was located a few minutes from the Old Town Square and the main train station - very ideal! Breakfast was delivered daily and prompt. I'll definitely return to the hostel in the future!

I stayed in a double with shared bathroom here for a week. Fantastic value for money. 5-10 min walk to main square. (Basic) breakfast included. Wonderful large rooms with stylish (traditional) furniture. Breakfast delivered outside your door each day between 8-10 AM. Staff are happy to answer any...

(karmelica rd)it wasnt what i booked, (ensuite bed with a bar downstairs) and it cost the same price which was unfair. plus the reception was never open for any questions. so all in all i wouldnt reccomend the place at all!!! oh yeah and the curtains are not big enough so buy a face mask if your daft enough to stay here!close

After comming to hostel I have been informed that there is no reservation for me, even I have been charged from my credit card. That was really wrong place except of location. If you have a choice just avoid this hostel.

The address given was not the address where we could collect the key and no one was there to meet us, had to make several phone calls and eventually ride in a taxi to find it, late at night. Our 4-bed apartment was very large and well heated, and right next to the old town with beds to sleep about 12! but all of the beds so old it was like a museum of 70s polish furniture. As such they were quite dirty and uncomfortable (pillows seemed to be ancient outdoor-furniture seat-pads). The shower had live electrical sockets in it a few cm from the shower head-so be careful! Toilet leaked - not sure where from (wear shoes!) the building lobby was very old and stunk like a toilet but the room was a bit cleaner :-) OK if you don't mind slumming it a bit, and have lots of people with not so much money -great location though.close

Double room was partitioned off from dorm rooms by plaster board, so could hear all noises through this; having said that other boarders were v quiet during our stay and place not busy in mid-summer. Bit of a problem was that a lot of ppl hadn't read that they had to pick up key from the Karmelicka St address, so rang the door bell at all hours of the night to be let in, then we could only direct them to the other place. Good hot showers. Excellent location for access to old town and bus/train.close

We only used it for tea and coffee as a wonderful (more than we could eat) fresh bakery breakast was delivered every mornning on the hour which we requested on our check-in. We had a fantastic time- the staff are lovely and they also organise hassle free day trips to the Salt Mines, which we went on. Definetly recommend staying there.close
