I booked a single room but they were all already busy so I had the dorm for me alone. Just perfect :) Be careful most of hostels don't have curtain. Sun rises 1-2 hours earlier than Western Europe, so if you can't sleep well, take something to cover up your eyes :)close

We were not in the main building, but in a unit around the corner. Truly dismal, especially the bathroom with it's non-functioning shower and overall decayed surfaces. There were notices posted about being sure to lock yourself IN (with a cumbersome keychain setup) due to intravenous drug users in hall (?), but I couldn't get out one time. Heaven forbid there had been a fire and we needed to exit in a hurry. I'm no prima donna, but this place was vile.close

We were a group of 15 and it was exactly what we needed. Staff were excellent and although it was very cheap, it was more than adequate for us.

We booked a double with ensuite, which turned out to be a self contained flat, great location close to railway station and 5 mins form the main square. 30 mins walk to the castle. Nice place, a little rough round the edges, good staff and value for money, would stay here again.

From our room we could hear every movement from the people staying above us. Even though they were not unduly noisy this was offputting.Fridge was mouldy. Apart from this the accommodation was cute & cosy.

Really interesting place right in the heart of things. Good helpful, friendly, obiging staff. Some might grumble at the state of some of the electrics and the soundproofing with room upstairs - we had a great time there and would use it again.

Overall, we found the staff to be very helpful especially as we arrived at 3am. The only downside to our whole experince was that we could hear every word or noise from the apartment above us. There would appear to be no soundproofing at all due to the way the apartment was split in two.

Upon arrival i was told they did not have my reservation and that in fact there were not rooms available for me. I had booked 2 months in advance and had also paid a deposit.

We stayed in two different rooms. The first one was a bit dusty and had an awful sound isolation, meaning that we could ear loud and clear the guests in other rooms. The second one was better. The location is great and the staff was very helpful. I wouldn't mind to stay there again.

We were sent to a diffferent building down the street. The entryway had a bad mildew, mold smell. The main building was much nicer. The breakfast is only a roll and butter and jam with make your own instant coffee or tea. The internet was not working either. Not a terrible place but not the...

Stayed here 3 nights in June 05. Great location in a safe quiet residental area between the train station and old town. Its an old building (you know you're in eastern Europe!) but the beds were comfy, rooms huge, and the bathrooms modern and clean. Breakfast was great. The staff is wonderful and very kind. The location is great -- just a few minutes' walk away from the Market Square.... The breakfast is very nice -- a filling roll and yogurt. Just be prepared to walk up a couple flights of (wide) stairs to the 2nd/ 3rd floor. Thank you to the wonderful staff...

Nice place, and good price, but: Much too thiny walls and floors, so every voice or moving in naibour rooms was enough to wake us up... :-( That was the reason why we moved to another hotel... And it was a lot of water on the floor in the toilette all the time...

This was perfect. Lovely rooms close to the centre in a pretty building with lots of privacy and comfort. We effectively had our own private bathroom too even though we had expected 'shared facilities'. If you're looking for comfortable private rooms in a great location stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Guestrooms. Their staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with all the assistance we need to get around as well as stay in the hostel. It's a nice place to stay in for your trip in Krakow!!!
