A good hostel by the beach. I would stay there again. If you are leaving early, double-check with the night attendant or you may have to jump over the gate in the morning :)

Had an excellent stay, the staff were so friendly and helpful 24/7, I loved the location of the hostel- right next to the beach but with easy access into KK. The hostel was clean, tidy and homely!

A hidden gem away from the city centre - lovely beaches mere minutes away. Great in-house facilities and a top-notch bunch running the place. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Great hostel. Very comfortable, clean. Staff were very friendly too and tried to help as much as they could. Its located super close to the airport, which is handy, but its quite far from downtown KK, and is a small hassle to get there.

We had a great time! Everyone in the staff is very helpful and freindly and the place was spacious, clean, and relaxed. it is a taxi ride or a decent walk away from downtown, but better than anywhere else for the beach - so i enjoyed the location. We would definitely stay there again!

The car I got had a nearly empty fuel tank, which resulted in the tank sedimentation getting clogged in the fuel filter and fuel pump ... I was over two hours east of Kota Kinabalu near the Poring Hot Springs when the car refused to start ... As I write this I'm STILL waiting for the replacement car to be driven out to me ... Sabah needs to work on its tourism infrastructure and business practices in order to encourage repeat travel business ... the people are generally kind, but INSIST that your cab driver use the meter ... the cab drivers in Kota Kinabalu conveniently use their feigned English language deficit as an excuse to "get lost" and then, expect you to pay them for all the wasted time ... don't fall for this scam ... tell them you'll report their cab number to the Ministry of Tourism ... they behave like land pirates ... :-(close
